Gin may not have reached the heights of his peers but his first four albums ain’t no ho. He knocked it outta the park for four consecutive eras in a SEA of R&B singers. He managed to stand out, have his own fan base, and go platinum for four albums & eras with plenty of hits. I don’t like the revisionist history or disrespect he faces today as a man in his 50s. There are people half his age who can’t sing or dance like him - past or present. Let’s have a little more respect for the R&B Legends as they enter legacy status.
