The US government rested its criminal case against Huawei yesterday in a Brooklyn federal courtroom. For the first time, the full set of charges and evidence the jury has heard can be compared with what Washington has said about Huawei for years. Washington built its campaign against Huawei on a national security label. That label drove the Entity List designation in 2019, the FCC designation in 2020, and the pressure on allies to rip out Huawei equipment. None of the 12 counts that reached the jury alleges espionage, a backdoor, or the compromise of any network. The charges are bank fraud, wire fraud, trade secret theft, sanctions violations and racketeering. The trade secret counts rest on five incidents from 2000 to 2017. Juries in two of them heard the disputes as civil cases years ago. T-Mobile asked for $502 million and was awarded $4.8 million, all of it for breach of contract. The CNEX jury awarded nothing. To connect those incidents to the fraud and sanctions counts, prosecutors used a racketeering conspiracy charge in a form their own lawyer told the judge had never been charged before. "To my knowledge, it has not been charged," he said. Huawei opened its defense by putting a sitting board member on the stand. Yang Chaobin grew up in a village of fewer than 2,000 people that shared one landline at the local convenience store. He joined Huawei in 1998, when it had 6,000 to 7,000 employees. Today it has 210,000, and it accounts for a fifth of the approved contributions to the global 5G standard. The verdict that matters most will not be the jury's. Carriers, ministries, regulators and banks in more than 170 countries will judge this case for themselves, and they will judge it against Washington's own record: a President who said he would intervene in the case against Huawei's CFO to get a trade deal a Justice Department that settled its Live Nation antitrust case partway through trial In the article, I set out five questions that will remain whatever the jury decides. Link in the first comment. #Huawei #China #Technology #Telecommunications #Geopolitics

China-developed VELLINK, the country’s first digital metro train equipped with embodied intelligence, was unveiled at the 2026 International Trade Fair for Transport Technology, which kicked off in Berlin, Germany on Tuesday. By integrating embodied AI, a comprehensive sensing network, proprietary AI algorithms and high-speed communications, the train can perceive, make decisions and interact intelligently, shifting from passively following commands to proactively optimizing operations. Lightweight materials and energy-efficient systems reduce the train’s weight by about 18%, while overall energy savings exceed 10% and full-life-cycle carbon emissions are reduced by about 15%.

Dan Aykroyd’s dancing is absolutely legendary! More than 45 years later, this performance is still incredibly entertaining. The talent on that stage is simply unreal! ❤️🎶🔥 The Blues Brothers (John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd) perform “Soul Man” on Saturday Night Live in 1978. 🎤🕺✨

China’s Pinglu Canal, the country's first major river-to-sea canal project planned and coordinated at the national level since 1949, officially opened on Wednesday. Built at a cost of 72.7 billion yuan (about $10.75 billion), the 134.2-km canal runs from Nanning, capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, to the Beibu Gulf, the closest maritime outlet for much of southwest China. It is expected to give China’s landlocked southwest a shortcut to the coast and overseas markets, particularly those in the ASEAN, the country's largest trading partner.

This is where THE BALTICS are going to !! As NATO loses UKRAINE, NATO shifts to moving munitions Into FINLAND & BALTICS...... RUSSIA will act. .. "You are approaching the State Border of the Russian Federation, if you don't Turn,YOU WILL BE DESTROYED!'
The Baltic states—Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania— are on a road where assimilation back into Russia is the Righteous path they are taking ! They are on the same path as what the BANDERITES in UKRAINE started 11 years ago, and the end result will be the same! NATO won't be saving you either, Boyz! Now that UKRAINE is failing & Russia will take back Novorossiya and be in command of the balance , Russia will focus on fixing an error made when the BALTICS were allowed to enter NATO. in my opinion.. they should never have left Russia & that soon there will be 3 new Oblasts of Russoa.!

Video of the Israeli ship before it sank The cargo ship CONTSHIP JET, owned by an Israeli company and carrying 421 containers of lithium-ion batteries, chemicals, acids, and other substances, sank. Currently, Russia is the main suspect in the incident, but there is no evidence to support this claim. This is the fifth ship to be attacked in Bulgarian waters this month.

Every Latina in the Third World is just dying to have a moderately autistic American bf who will ramble nonstop every day about Red Pill Theory and how western women are hypergamous stacys that have body counts of over 1000 with chads and tyrones before hitting the wall due to a lower SMV and how they all settle for a simp by 35 and that's why you moved to her country so you could find a non feminist femoid who still has her eggs to procreate with And when you're done rambling, she'll say "k lindo mi amoooor, I made you tacos! 🌮"

🚨 AMERICANS ARE PISSED OVER THE INSANE COST OF U.S. VACATIONS — AND NOW THEY'RE REALIZING IT'S CHEAPER TO LEAVE THE COUNTRY The math ain't mathing anymore, and Americans are fed up. What used to be a simple family vacation is turning into a financial nightmare. Between skyrocketing hotel prices, outrageous Airbnb fees, expensive flights, parking charges, and overpriced food, travelers are questioning whether vacationing in America is even worth it anymore. Americans are discovering they can get far more for their money by traveling overseas. One man questioned why he should spend $300 a night in Orlando when he could wake up in Bali with a private pool. Or visit Thailand for inexpensive massages, enjoy affordable meals in Costa Rica, or sip wine in Barcelona without spending a fortune. Meanwhile, back in America... A hotel room in Los Angeles could cost hundreds of dollars a night, with parking and additional fees piled on top. In Miami, some beach clubs charge separately for chairs, umbrellas, and drinks, turning a simple afternoon at the beach into an expensive outing. And for families, the situation can be even more frustrating. One mother of five shared her disbelief after looking into a family vacation that could cost approximately $12,000. She's not asking for a five star luxury experience. Just a resort, a swimming pool, and a chance to make memories with her children. And somehow, even that feels financially out of reach. When flying halfway around the world starts looking like a better deal than vacationing in your own country, people are going to start asking questions. Why has taking a simple vacation in America become so ridiculously expensive?
