I became a diehard as a 9-years old kid in 1986 after they drafted Chuck Person. I thought that this was the year to be rewarded for all the painful experiences but ended up with more pain. What I’ve learned is that life goes on and so will the Pacers. They won’t give up trying.
This sums up marriage from a husband’s perspective perfectly! 😂
being married is funny because you'll be chilling, having a bowl of cereal, and your wife will say
i hate these bowls, don't you?
and you'll shrug becuase you don't care and she'll say
i do, they've bothered me for a while now. we need new bowls.
and you'll shrug again because you have honestly, not once, ever considered the bowls at all
then a few days later there will be all new bowls in the kitchen.
and you'll be eating the same cereal in a different bowl, chilling, and she'll say
i love these new bowls
and you'll shrug again because you still don't care but she's happier and the cereal is still good and you didn't do anything at all
Interesting quote from Gallinari. 🌶️
Danilo Gallinari on Kawhi Leonard:
“He should pay all of that $50 million. He changed the trajectory of my career and put me in a difficult situation by sending me away from Los Angeles. What happened to my NBA career wasn’t decided by a general manager or an owner, but by a player who decided that team wasn’t good enough and wanted something else.”

Life is way more convenient now and the advances in medicine and technology have improved the quality of life but society as a whole is way more divided and anxiety and depression have never been higher. People are way too isolated and there are too many fatherless families.
Dear fellow @Colts fans,
Remember how the team started 7-1 last season and how the season ended? Starting off hot doesn’t determine how the season ends.
Likewise, starting off cold doesn’t determine how the season will end.
It’s how you finish not how you start.

clippers might genuienly be one of the worst franchises i have ever seen between their decisions and how they treat their players...
This will never happen. The league commissioner works for the owners and is hired by the owners. It’s almost always someone with a business and law background that is selected. It’s never a former player.
BREAKING NEWS: WNBA players have reportedly suggested Nneka Ogwumike to replace Cathy Engelbert as #WNBA Commissioner.
Michael Beasley being the voice of reason here has restored my faith in him. Look at his face. He knew Nasir was out of his mind for saying that TJ McConnell would get fried playing him 1v1.
"TJ McConnell would come out here and get fried."
Nasir Core, Pat Bev and Michael Beasley discuss NBA players in the 1v1 space on the @3sandones Podcast.
FYI: TJ averaged 34/9/8 in high school.

This seems like a good thing but I think we have to wait and see who they get to replace her before celebrating it.
🚨 Breaking: WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert will retire at the end of the calendar year, per @alexaphilippou
Engelbert has served as WNBA commissioner since 2019
Baller paid for his own investigation and thought that it would be enough to make this little problem go away. This rant filled letter from his lawyers is hilarious.
To be honest, if there was anyone in the NBA who didn’t know something was happening with their contracts or endorsement money, I think Kawhi would be that guy. He just looks like the oblivious type that would just trust his uncle that everything was kosher.
Kawhi Leonard reportedly did not have any knowledge of the salary cap circumvention that was going on, per @ShamsCharania

Here's a photo of Kawhi's signature on an agreement with Aspiration Partners, the organization involved in the circumvention:

The best thing about this is that we don’t have to worry that the 2029 drafted player would wind up being a generational talent. We’re not gonna lose out on another Kawhi Leonard.
Do the Pacers get their pick back?
BREAKING: The NBA has ruled on the Los Angeles Clippers in for salary cap circumvention investigations on Kawhi Leonard after yearlong probe -- stripping the franchise of 5 first-round picks, issuing a $30 million fine to owner Steve Ballmer and suspensions for Ballmer, Lawrence Frank and Gillian Zucker, sources tell ESPN.
Kawhi Leonard will have to pay $700,000 in restitution for improper benefits by the Clippers for his uncle and former business rep, Dennis Robertson. No contract void or suspension for Leonard. And Robertson -- who was fired by Leonard in June -- is being banned by the NBA from all business dealings.
