As part of the #SMElevate initiative, #PSW hosted a #ChangeManagement session at @SEICofficial , Karachi, equipping startups and entrepreneurs with practical knowledge to explore cross-border trade opportunities. The session connected PSW’s role in simplifying trade with the steps businesses can take to embrace digital processes. Alongside an introduction to PSW’s services, participants received a hands-on demonstration of #TradeVerse, the Trade Information Portal of Pakistan (#TIPP), to help them access trade information and navigate relevant requirements. Expert guidance and direct interaction offered practical insights to support informed business decisions and export readiness.

PSW is consolidating access to trade operations through a unified digital platform. As part of this transition, all inactive WeBOC User IDs belonging to users with active PSW subscriptions will be permanently deactivated effective 11 November 2026. Traders, Customs Agents and Shipping Agents are advised to use their respective PSW IDs for all day-to-day operational activities and keep their subscriptions active to avoid disruption. As DPP transitions to NAFSA, PSW remains committed to ensuring uninterrupted system access, access to records, application processing, certificate issuance and other related services for DPP module users through the PSW portal. Pakistan and the Maldives have agreed to increase bilateral trade from approximately $13.9 million to $200 million within the next two years, supported by 20 MoUs and agreements aimed at expanding economic cooperation and creating new opportunities to strengthen bilateral trade.
