Just last month, DoorDash couldn’t seem to find the money to pay their deliveristas — until our administration forced them to give back $131M+ in stolen wages and penalties. This week, they’ve managed to find $17 billion to acquire one of their main competitors. Corporate consolidation means higher prices, harsher exploitation, and greater economic inequality for New Yorkers. We’ve stood up to these giants before. That doesn’t stop now.

on numerous occasions I've sen these machines just idle on the road, run on their designated route with no work being carried out.
Waste of taxpayers money. They're interested only in spending money without verifying usefulness of such items. Nobody bothers for end use. Let the MCG boss also order an audit and see who is accountable for the lapses. @DC_Gurugram @csharyana @cmohry Hope you will act

Dear Mrs. Sitarama, 1.Which "legal and commercial matter" required Tata Trusts and Tata Sons to be hosted at Amit Shah's residence? 2.When is crony number 1 going to appear in the game and which pieces of Tata is he going to get? Finally, all India's businesses except 3-4 of your cronies, already hate all of you and don't need any incitement.
Being the LoP @RahulGandhi, I suggest you refrain from politicising every issue. Also, casually labelling commercial and legal matters as criminal is unacceptable. You have repeatedly decried the successes of Indian industry & our entrepreneurs. Now, are you trying to incite our business leaders to join you in spreading distrust & toxicity? For decades, your party had smothered the spirit of the Indian entrepreneurs under the stifling ‘Licence-Quota Raj’ & inflicted poverty on crores of Indians. On the other hand, our government led by PM @narendramodi values the Indian industry as job creators & drivers of economic growth. Our policies have been tailored to enable enterprise, support industry and encourage investment. Political parties, leaders, governments and institutions share an equal responsibility to support our industry, strengthen our farmers and secure the future of our youth. Therefore, it is essential to engage constructively rather than casting baseless aspersions to suit your narrow political motives. The Constitution of India ensures justice to all its citizens & our Honourable Courts are entrusted with upholding it. History is witness to the shoddy manner in which you, your party and the PMs belonging to your party have demeaned the judiciary. So Rahul ji, refrain from seeing ghosts everywhere.

Let's name exactly how Tata is being destroyed. And exactly who benefits. 🔻 The documented facts: 📌 RBI orders Tata Sons - an Upper Layer NBFC - to go public 📌 Tata Sons board agrees to list - opposed by Tata Trusts who own 66% of Tata Sons 📌 Noel Tata calls Chandrasekaran's reappointment "illegal" 📌 Tata Sons consolidated net profit slipped 35% under current management 📌 Six Parsi/Zoroastrian organisations write to PM Modi to protect Tata's legacy 📌 New York Times calls it "government intervention" in India's most revered institution 📌 The Print: "Government push to force Tata Sons onto the stock market - turning a governance dispute into a national crisis" Now the conflict of interest nobody is saying out loud: 🔴 A forced Tata Sons listing = dilution of Tata Trusts' 66% control 🔴 Tata Trusts fund hospitals, universities, research institutions; not shareholders 🔴 Forced listing = philanthropic structure dismantled. Permanently. 🔴 Chandrasekaran - the chairman at the centre of this - sits on boards of Modi government's strategic committees 🔴 The RBI Governor enforcing the listing order was appointed by the Modi government 🔴 The same government that weaponised ED, CBI and RBI against every business that didn't comply, is now using regulatory mandate to break the one conglomerate it doesn't yet control Tata Trusts own 66%. If that 66% is diluted through a forced listing; who buys those shares? At what price? And who decides the timing? J.R.D. Tata built this for India. Ratan Tata protected it for India. And it is being dismantled, through regulatory capture, for a handful. Business leaders are silent. Because silence is now the price of survival in Modi's India. But the Supreme Court is watching. The Parsi community is on record. The New York Times is watching. The BBC is watching. India is watching. 🇮🇳 🚨 The question isn't whether Tata will survive this. The question is: who is waiting to pick up the pieces? Name them. Under oath. Before a JPC. Now.

They are pushing for the public listing of Tata Sons, the holding company, so that two capitalist cronies can drag down its share price and launch a hostile takeover through their shell companies. And ultimately destroy the TATA brand, which has been an integral part of India’s development.
Tata is being criminally destroyed, and no business leader dares say a word. How long will you stay silent? Until they own you? Indian business is not Modi and Shah's plaything. You lack courage. We don't. We will ensure justice for these crimes.

📺 “We reported events one-sidedly for years”: Serbian TV apologizes to viewers after Vučić's party loses the election Radio Television of Vojvodina (RTV) opened its news broadcast with footage of celebrations following the Student List's election victory — scenes it had failed to show the previous evening. “For years, we failed to fulfill our duty. We kept silent, turned a blind eye, reported events one-sidedly, and failed to ask the necessary questions. For that, we owe our viewers an apology,” news anchor Goran Eror said. Following the controversy, RTV's acting editor-in-chief Nenad Čačić resigned. A similar incident occurred in Hungary, where state television also apologized to viewers after Viktor Orbán's election defeat.
🎉🎉 Serbia celebrates Vučić's defeat all night — now he's warning the country about sanctions against Russia After 14 years of Aleksandar Vučić's political dominance, his bloc has lost the snap parliamentary elections. The opposition Student List, which emerged from mass anti-government protests, has claimed victory. According to preliminary figures from Ipsos and CeSID, the students secured around 53% of the vote, while Vučić's coalition received approximately 39%. The former president acknowledged defeat. He estimated that the winners could secure 135–140 seats in Serbia's 250-member parliament. But he couldn't resist issuing a warning about Russia. Vučić claimed the new government could impose sanctions on Moscow as early as March or April. Meanwhile, Belgrade and other Serbian cities celebrated the student movement's victory throughout the night, with car horns, singing, and crowds cheering in the streets. Final election results are still pending.
