Our hearts are broken. Sultan has not made it 😞
Whilst on the operating table we were advised to let him go as his stomach had spilt badly.
They were sure even if the operation continued he would not make it afterwards and would only suffer.
We don’t know why this happened. He hadn’t been given anything out of the ordinary or done anything extreme. Why now?
He’s only just arrived. As he was dropped off at the gate he kept looking back for his owner. He had been with him for at least ten years.
Nobody looked back for him tho and it was up to us to find him a new home.
Just to look forward now. This all feels so wrong and we are shattered. I just don’t have any words other than we try so hard and sometimes it’s not enough.
