How is this also not interference in German Politics? @Alice_Weidel
Just imagine the uproar if Trump made up the allegation that UK Labour were funded by Saudi Arabia……oh wait

In a truly extraordinary attempt to rewrite history, Andy Burnham denies his own words while simultaneously throwing the left-wing commentariat under the bus.
There’s just one rather inconvenient problem: he was filmed saying them.
Extraordinary stuff.

Last year, Labour’s Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy chose David Kogan as her preferred candidate for Independent Football Regulator chair.
In 2020, Kogan made two donations to Nandy’s Labour leadership campaign.
Both donations were undeclared.

He has now misled the House.
It is a matter of record that he claimed to have proof of Russian interference.
The pet @CommonsSpeaker should hold him to account.
This is the crime of Contempt of Parliament.

Andy Burnham just denied in Parliament that he said there was Russian interference in the Brexit referendum.
As he suggested in the House, I went back and looked again.
He did.
He put it ‘clearly on the record.’

I believe Andy Burnham just lied to the House.
The Ministerial Code states that it is ‘of paramount importance that Ministers give accurate and truthful information to Parliament, correcting any inadvertent error at the earliest opportunity. Ministers who knowingly mislead Parliament will be expected to offer their resignation to the Prime Minister.’

‼️ No, sorry I can’t let it go. I just can’t!
Burnham is trying to persuade you that Brexit happened because of Russian interference.
I only saw this outrageous state approved interference by … OBAMA! Splashed all over MSM for weeks.
(Burnham hasn’t mentioned this obvs)

If you want to talk about foreign governments meddling in British politics.
The pro-EU group "UK in a Changing Europe" admitted this week that they have been funded by the Spanish Government.
Why on earth would the Spanish Government be funding a pro-EU outlet in the UK?

We Leavers were all swayed by the Russians - for which there is no evidence.
While Remainers were absolutely not swayed by George Soros - for which there is.
Andy Burnham says UK authorities are “clear” there was Russian interference in the Brexit referendum as @CatNeilan reports in today’s @ObserverUK

Replying to @JamesMacCleary
Will Burnham publish the evidence he refers to?
"In 2020, Parliament's Intelligence and Security Committee published a report into Russian interventions in UK elections and referendums. It did not provide a definitive conclusion on whether Russia had attempted to influence the results of the EU referendum but did criticise successive governments for failing to fully assess or counter the threat."
"There is no good reason to believe that Russian intervention influenced the outcome of the referendum in 2016. It is also insulting to suggest that voters were so easily duped."
Burnham's comments are "another crude attempt to undermine the legitimacy of the decision that the British people made in 2016."
What is more interesting, is the EU itself is interferes in certain European general elections, against the anti-EU & right wing politicians it condemns as populist i.e. disagrees with the socialist, totalitarian EU.
The US House Judiciary Committee issued a report in February 2026 alleged that the European Commission pressured social media platforms to censor speech and pushed narratives unfavorable to conservative and populist parties in countries like France, the Netherlands, and Romania.
In early 2026 the then Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, US Vice President JD Vance & others accused Brussels of direct political pressure & financial coercion, such as withholding EU funds or applying regulatory weight under the Digital Services Act to sway domestic politics & weaken anti-EU or Eurosceptic leadership.
The EU lies, framing it as protections against so-called hate speech.

Dear Andy Burnham, the Oxford Internet Institute examined social media after the Brexit vote.
Their conclusion was that Russian traffic made up around a one thousandth of just one percent of Brexit traffic.
Thus, I suspect you're lying; so put up your evidence or shut up.

The biggest interferences in the Brexit referendum were:
1. Project Fear, led by a Canadian Governor of the Bank of England and enthusiastic globalist, who'd prefer nations didn't exist.
2. A Remain campaign lavishly funded by the EU and several global donors.
3. A President of the US, Obama, who stated Britain wouldn't get a trade deal with the US if it left the EU.
4. A mainstream media overwhelmingly pro-Remain, including the BBC, ITV, C4 and Sky.
All worked in favour of the Remain vote.
Shall we *now* talk about Russian interference?

France is the warning. The Left and the Doomerslop are already trying to tear this country apart from the inside. We will not become France 2.0. Vote RED. In droves. Now.
BONGINO: “How many more warnings could you possibly need about the global effort among the Islamo-radical and communist left to join up with the media and anyone else to infiltrate countries and destroy them from the inside? How many more warnings could you possibly need?”

My position has always been clear on this. The politics of Manchester is as dirty as 1930s Chicago. I'm relieved that people around the country are finally taking notice what Burnham's mayoral brand was built on.
There’s an Andy Burnham story I feel some people are desperate to keep out of the headlines. It centres on the Mayor's relationship with the luxury property developer Renaker.
- Public loans since 2016:
£800,000,000.
- On-site affordable homes in the flagship GMCA backed towers:
ZERO
- And that headline £114m “affordable elsewhere” promise?
Deferred on viability. Meaning it can be pushed back or whittled down to nothing.
Have a read of this if you can access it. There is so much more going on here. Including, how, as Manchester Mayor in May 2024 he launched a plan to build 10,000 council houses in his area. So far he’s managed to start work on 10. Yes 10.
