Light as many candles as you can on your life’s journey so that when your sun sets and your flame dims, the way back home is lit with the life’s you touched.
Sheilla’s fight was a costly one. Her family needs your support. No contribution is too small to clear her hospital bill

What a day! Today marks my last day as Managing Director of @BPRbankrw since Feb 2023. The last 45 months have been nothing short of remarkable. I’ve been stretched, I’ve served, learnt and grown tremendously. I’ve been deeply passionate about serving and have watched the bank transform in ways that are hard to describe.
We have achieved a lot collectively. This would not have been possible without the support of the BPR Board of Directors, @kcbgroup the Regional Powerhouse under the leadership of @Saagite, colleagues, partners, and above all, our customers. I celebrate the connections that this work has opened up to me and the bonds created that will last a lifetime.
Looking back at what we have achieved, there is so much to be proud of, but I’ll mention a few:
1️⃣ Customer confidence was significantly enhanced post merger, with the net promoter score improving from 46 in 2023 to 88 by mid 2026. Amidst a challenging environment, we successfully merged & upgraded our core banking system and earned back customer trust.
2️⃣ Shareholder confidence in the bank increased significantly, with the bank paying dividends in 2024 and 2025, for the first time since BPR became a commercial bank in 2007. In the last 3 years, the minority shareholders have been actively registered, received share certificates, and are finally able to trade shares.
3️⃣ Total Assets: doubled from RWF 747 Billion by end of2022 to RWF 1.5 Trillion by June 2026.
4️⃣ Customer deposits: grew by 136% from RWF 526 Billion to over RWF 1 Trillion by June 2026 signaling increased confidence in BPR.
5️⃣ Loans to customers: increased by 122% from RWF 457 Billion in 2022 to over RWF 1 Trillion by June 2026, because we believe that the private sector is the engine of Rwanda’s growth.
6️⃣ Revenue: BPR’s total revenue grew from RWF 72 Billion by the end of 2022 to over RWF 115 Billion by end of 2025, with growth continuing in 2026.
7️⃣ Profit Before Tax: increased from RWF 32 Billion by the end of 2022 to over RWF 58 Billion by end of 2025, with continued growth in 2026.
Vibe culture and hospitable people has always been a low hanging fruit. It’s a good Ad in that context.
Zambia is the most strategically positioned country in Africa 🙌 Plus their currency has held strong against the dollar for years. Definitely on my radar 💯
Tanzania and Angola have agreed to connect their Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean transport corridors with a railway link via Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan said. reuters.com/business/energy/…
Happy birthday Paul Webs. In this new age, may you know prosperity but welcome peace.
May your frontal lobe and mouth finally connect the same way your beards do 🙏🏻 Enjoy your day 🥂

I met in Kigail, the architect behind Trace's successful launch in Central Africa. Felix Pea's first challenge was finding content that fit broadcast standards Most of the old videos he found, had been shot with phones with zero cinematography, just vibes 🤣 What a time!
I co-founded one of Uganda’s youth-led environmental initiatives called the Rotaract Earth Initiative with a long term goal of planting 10m trees across East Africa.
Since its inception in 2015 and stewards that carried on the vision, 10,000 trees have been planted annually.
The smirk of Sartorial elegance @charlesgava_256 🤣

This was me when a friend asked me to recommend an animation she could watch with her kids on Sunday after church. I innocently and naively, recommend Sausage Party despite not having watched it myself 😭 She extended grace but gosh it was so embarrassing 🙂↔️
