Fulham continue to be in false position. Just need to start taking some chances & we'll get to where we should be.

The deserved-points table after GW9. Argue with the model, not us.
ALT Premier League expected points table after gameweek 9, ordered by xPts. Manchester City lead on expected points with 18.5. The first column gives each team's real league position, the second where expected points put them, with a teal up arrow for a climb and a red down arrow for a drop; Nottingham Forest climb the most, up 14 places. Delta column shows xPts minus actual points.

Is it possible to go down with these numbers? It shouldnโt be but itโs so competitive and we are 20th in big chance conversion. We donโt deliver in the big moments which could cost us.

For many weeks, I've been calling for Fulham to move the ball quicker and attack space earlier.
Against Villa, in the second half we saw a Fulham side do just that.
Good signs of progress being made under Arbeloa.

Terrible news from Spain: Tenerife player Jesus de Miguel has sadly passed away.
The striker has could not overcome the serious consequences of the incident suffered during the match against FC Andorra.
A devastating loss for Tenerife and whole football world.
Prayers and thoughtd go out to his family, friends, teammates, and everyone at CD Tenerife during this difficult time.

Another player Fulham are still being linked to is Celta Vigo defender Javi Rodriguez. Here is my summer breakdown of how he would fit into the system.
With all these defenders being linked I think it's very possible we could see one CB leave in Jan.

Second half was a tactical masterclass from Arbeloa. We saw Emery's system, slightly tweaked it in the second half and exploited Villa midfield's fatigue and made sure Fulham had an extra man, half turned to supply the forwards.
I was at the same game on last season though you were unlucky, and moving forward, if you're patient, Arbeloa may well be a masterstroke.
We'll see. Good luck โช๏ธโช๏ธโซ๏ธ
