Rolled credits on Star Wars: Galactic Racer last night. Verdict: Incredibly polished, tense, authentic. Oozes a deep love for Star Wars (the sound design is divine!). It's mechanically so good, with a bit more content (DLC or sequel), it could be a 10. ign.com/games/star-wars-gala…

I spoke to Hideo Kojima about the situation behind Physint’s move from PlayStation to Xbox. He spoke candidly about the panic he felt for his studio, his staff and his game – and Physint’s future at Xbox.

Hideo Kojima shared that he feared Kojima Productions might collapse as a result of Sony's decision to cancel Physint. For more from our exclusive interview: bit.ly/4r7JEXe

“So in June, SIE said they wanted to have a Zoom call…They said they can no longer fund development for Physint. I was shocked and I said, 'What did you say?' I couldn’t quite process what they had said. I wasn’t sure because I was in shock… We didn’t understand the reason. I didn't have any anger or sadness; my first thought was, 'What am I going to do with my studio?' …If we lose one contract, I thought I might have to cut all the people working on Physint, right? Or our studio could end up collapsing because we’ll run out of cashflow."

Finally downloading. Wife’s traveling — had to walk doggos, feed kid, do dishes by myself. Somehow that takes nine times as long.

Warlock made a nice splash at gamescom -- it's #2 in IGN user wishlist adds (sandwiched by predictable Witcher 3 excitement). Nodus Fall and 1001 Threads of Mizan rounded out the top 5 this week.

After reading Xbox's disc-to-digital program news earlier today, I wrote a quick piece on IGN about how THIS is the kind of proactive messaging and action we want to see more of from Microsoft: ign.com/articles/xbox-is-han…
