Hey in case anyone's waffling here. Keep Mike Rogers far, far away from the US Senate.
🚨 BREAKING: Mike Rogers confirmed in a new interview that he would vote for a national abortion ban: "I've been very open about that time I was in Congress, having a 100% pro-life rating... This is the only way that I know how to be when I go back to the United States Senate."

This takes so much bravery. Amy Acton, you are the best of us.
ACTON: My opponent has chosen to exploit my childhood to save to save his struggling campaign, but it's not going to work.

There is something deeply wrong with a political system that allows one trillionaire to buy his own personal U.S. Senator.

President @BarackObama inspired me to run for office, and I couldn’t be more honored to have his vote for United States Senate. Let’s win on November 3rd, Illinois!

For the first time, South Carolinians will be able hear directly from me and Mrs. Graham Nordone directly — my vision for a South Carolina we can afford and Darline's DC consultants' vision for whatever they want her to say. I hope you'll join me in Columbia before I take the stage Sunday evening.

No family should have to fight both a cancer diagnosis and their insurance company at the same time. Women—especially in rural communities like Michigan—should be able to get the genetic testing and specialty care they need to catch this disease early or prevent it altogether. Our bill tackles this issue from every angle -- awareness, outreach, access to care, and access to testing. thehill.com/homenews/senate/…

Bold choice for a health summit. Especially if you consider women people.
Russell Brand, who's awaiting trial in London next month on rape and sexual assault charges, will moderate a panel at DC's MAHA summit tomorrow on reforming a U.S. health agency

We are heartbroken by the passing of Gloria Steinem, a trailblazer whose courage and vision transformed the fight for women’s equality and reproductive freedom. Gloria was a cherished member of the Emerge family. As a member of our Advisory Board, she was a steadfast supporter of our mission and believed deeply in the power of women to lead and create change. We are profoundly grateful for her friendship, her wisdom, and the many ways she championed Emerge and the women we serve. Gloria changed the world, and generations of women are stronger because of her. We will miss her dearly and carry her legacy forward in our work every day.

Today is not a day for only sadness. It is a day to recommit to gathering together, to using our voices to organize and mobilize for the things we believe in. We love you, Gloria. Rest.

Gloria Steinem was a fearless trailblazer who transformed the fight for equality in America and inspired generations of women to know their power. Her voice, courage and relentless advocacy helped break down barriers and open doors once firmly closed to women. May it be a comfort to all of us who loved Gloria that her extraordinary legacy will live on in every generation that carries her fight forward.

The room where PERSIST. was born ❤️
I was born in 1971, the year before Gloria Steinem helped launch Ms. magazine. It’s hard to explain to younger women what Ms. meant to those of us who grew up with it. It showed us women who were questioning the rules, challenging power, and refusing to accept that the world simply had to stay the way it was. Gloria helped make that kind of woman visible and possible. After Kamala Harris lost the presidential election, I was invited to Gloria’s home with a small group of women. We were angry, exhausted, and trying to figure out what came next. By then, Gloria had spent more than half a century doing this: bringing women together in her home to talk, organize, strategize, argue, and figure out how to keep going. And she was still doing exactly that until just before she died. Because Gloria understood something fundamental about women and activism: movements are built in living rooms. Women activists of my generation inherited so much from Gloria Steinem: a world in which a woman allowed themselves to be outspoken, ambitious, political, angry, strategic, and powerful. There is a direct line from women like Gloria, who insisted on taking up space when women were expected to stay quiet, to women like me who were able to build organizations, lead movements, and demand change. Gloria Steinem helped make my activism and the activism of millions of women possible. Not just by breaking barriers herself, but by creating space for generations of women to come through behind her.

Vote for leadership you can trust and who has delivered real results - not a career politician who says one thing and does another. Let's go win, Wisconsin!

ICE is not in Danbury and other Connecticut cities to protect people. They are here to besiege our communities. To create chaos and act lawlessly. If they aren’t going to obey the law, they need to leave.
