I pray that this is true. I hope she enjoys coffee as well.
Someone is in love with you. You may not know who they are, but someone thinks you’re the bee’s knees.

I ask you, with tears in my eyes, please stop making posts about your kid’s upcoming deployment with photos of them and exact timelines of their departure I get that you’re proud of them. I get that they are the first to serve in your family But you’re doing more harm than good

Cast iron skillets, oversized snow globes, and power tools over seven inches, every summer, travelers are genuinely surprised when these end up in the TSA confiscation bin. It seems silly on the surface, but from an X-ray operator's perspective, it comes down to density, liquid volumes, and dual-use threat risks. As an industry, the best way we can shorten checkpoint lines during peak travel is simply helping people pack smarter before they leave the house. usatoday.com/story/travel/20… #AviationSecurity #TSA #TravelTips #AirportOps #LeadingEdgeStrategies

The headline about TSA’s water bottle ban potentially disappearing sounds like a dream for frequent flyers, but the real story here is the steady rollout of Computed Tomography (CT) scanners.
CT technology allows checkpoint officers to rotate 3D images of carry-on items, providing a much clearer view of liquid densities and potential threats. While widespread relaxation of the 3.4-ounce rule will take time as equipment upgrades continue nationwide, it is a great example of how advanced checkpoint technology can simultaneously raise the security baseline and improve passenger throughput.
Step-by-step technological upgrades are how we build a less burdensome, more capable checkpoint.

There comes a point in your healing where you stop asking God, “Why did You let this happen to me?” and start saying, “Thank You for what You taught me through it.” Because the things that broke you… only broke you for a season. They didn’t destroy you. They developed you. You grew. You healed. You became stronger. You learned who you were. You learned who God was. And somewhere between the breaking and the becoming… the breakthrough happened. Now you can look back at the season you thought would ruin you and realize God was using it to rebuild you. One day, you’ll thank God for some of the prayers He didn’t answer, the doors He closed, the people He removed, and even the seasons that brought you to your knees. Because sometimes the breaking is where the becoming begins. 🤍 What broke you for a season may become the very testimony that helps someone else survive theirs.

Not sure why I should continue to use this app. I replied to two posts today and in returned was followed by no less than 10 bots. Sure, I blocked the bots, but it makes me think replying to people isn’t worth the effort.

This is a “no win” scenario. Either the woman leaves the man immediately, or she leaves once she realizes her man manipulated and lied to her. How about just don’t play games with people? It’s a relationship, not a battle to be won.

A good lesson for all, not just pilots. Getting complacent, thinking “it’s close enough” can quickly lead to tragedy…or a good life lesson.
I was talking about my weekend plans when my T-38 instructor interrupted me with a question I'd remember for the next 37 years. We were in the traffic pattern after a formation sortie. While scanning for traffic I mentioned my plans to go two-stepping that weekend. He interrupted before I could finish. "Hey, Urban Cowboy," he growled. "What's the correct airspeed for outside downwind?" "250 knots,” I said. "Then why are we at 253?" Three lousy knots. I remember thinking, Seriously? I’d just flown a solid formation sortie. Three knots fast on downwind didn't seem worth mentioning. During the debrief he handed me a training manual and pointed to a highlighted sentence. "Read it aloud.” Several classmates were within earshot, and I felt the heat rise on my face at what was rapidly becoming a semi-public berating. I swallowed my embarrassment. “Aggressiveness is a persistent unwillingness to accept deviations." "If you've got the free brain cells to talk about your weekend," he said, "you can maintain 250 knots." That evening I was at the Officers' Club nursing my wounded ego when he approached carrying two shots of Jeremiah Weed. He handed me one. "Don't settle for 'three knots is close enough.'" We clinked glasses. Then he poked me in the chest. "You're better than that." Thirty-seven years later, I can still hear his voice. That afternoon he taught me the biggest mistakes usually don't begin with dramatic failures. They begin when we decide three knots is close enough.
