I ask you, with tears in my eyes, please stop making posts about your kid’s upcoming deployment with photos of them and exact timelines of their departure I get that you’re proud of them. I get that they are the first to serve in your family But you’re doing more harm than good

Cast iron skillets, oversized snow globes, and power tools over seven inches, every summer, travelers are genuinely surprised when these end up in the TSA confiscation bin. It seems silly on the surface, but from an X-ray operator's perspective, it comes down to density, liquid volumes, and dual-use threat risks. As an industry, the best way we can shorten checkpoint lines during peak travel is simply helping people pack smarter before they leave the house. usatoday.com/story/travel/20… #AviationSecurity #TSA #TravelTips #AirportOps #LeadingEdgeStrategies

The headline about TSA’s water bottle ban potentially disappearing sounds like a dream for frequent flyers, but the real story here is the steady rollout of Computed Tomography (CT) scanners.
CT technology allows checkpoint officers to rotate 3D images of carry-on items, providing a much clearer view of liquid densities and potential threats. While widespread relaxation of the 3.4-ounce rule will take time as equipment upgrades continue nationwide, it is a great example of how advanced checkpoint technology can simultaneously raise the security baseline and improve passenger throughput.
Step-by-step technological upgrades are how we build a less burdensome, more capable checkpoint.

There comes a point in your healing where you stop asking God, “Why did You let this happen to me?” and start saying, “Thank You for what You taught me through it.” Because the things that broke you… only broke you for a season. They didn’t destroy you. They developed you. You grew. You healed. You became stronger. You learned who you were. You learned who God was. And somewhere between the breaking and the becoming… the breakthrough happened. Now you can look back at the season you thought would ruin you and realize God was using it to rebuild you. One day, you’ll thank God for some of the prayers He didn’t answer, the doors He closed, the people He removed, and even the seasons that brought you to your knees. Because sometimes the breaking is where the becoming begins. 🤍 What broke you for a season may become the very testimony that helps someone else survive theirs.

Powerful Prayer: God, I come before You with an open and humble heart, asking for Your guidance as I pray. Lord, I ask that You remove from my life anyone and anything that is not meant for me. Please surround me only with those who have pure and good intentions toward me. Protect me, Lord, and grant me peace regardless of the outcome. I place my full faith and trust in You, knowing that Your plan is greater and more perfect than anything I could imagine. I release all people, places, and things that no longer serve my highest good, and I welcome what You have truly prepared for me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

PRAYER REQUEST from Army veteran Bryand and his 3 boys we just assisted. “I just want to say thank you and code of vets for being there for me and for everything you’ve done. I truly appreciate it more than I can explain. Being a father is something I take very seriously, but honestly, it’s been really hard. There are days when I feel overwhelmed, stressed, and like I’m carrying more than I can handle. I’m doing my best to stay strong and be the father my children need, even when I’m struggling inside. If you can, please keep me and my family in your prayers. I could really use some strength, guidance, and peace right now. I believe God is with me through this, and I’m just asking for prayer to help me keep pushing forward. Thank you again for everything.”

Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, I would be honored if you would become the third governor to sign my American flag lawnmower. Governor Kay Ivey of Alabama proudly signed it first, followed by Governor Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma. My mission is to have all 50 governors sign it, then hopefully take it to the White House for one final signature before auctioning it off, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting nonprofits that support our nation’s veterans. It would mean so much to have Arkansas join this mission and help honor the men and women who have sacrificed so much for this country. 🇺🇸 @SarahHuckabee

TSA is replacing the KCM program with a new Crew Member Access Point (CMAP) program — and airlines are footing the bill. Under CMAP, TSA charges $19 per staff member per participating airline. The three largest U.S. carriers would collectively pay $6.8M annually: American Airlines: $2.64M United Airlines: $2.17M Delta Air Lines: $1.95M The key difference from KCM: TSA takes full oversight of the program rather than relying on airline associations. CMAP also adds biometric data verification. Three airports have already implemented CMAP. DCA and IAD went live June 22. LAS followed on June 29. The KCM program's replacement follows high-profile security violations under the previous system, according to Simply Flying. How has the transition from KCM to CMAP affected your checkpoint experience at DCA, IAD, or LAS so far? Read the full story: aerocrewnews.com/l1ps
