Rogue One is also terrible. The characters are flat and boring. The Vader bit is nonsensical fan service. And the movie doesn't even connect to the opening of Star Wars properly, which was its one job.

I watched "Wildwood" with the family this weekend. It is a flawed, yet impossible to ignore film. It could have been an all-time classic with a few tweaks, but even with the worldbuilding shortcomings, it absolutely demands attention and respect. It is a monument of creativity.
