➡️ The Rickenbacker walking path barely accommodates wheelchairs. ➡️ #paintisnotprotection. This bike lane only serves the fearless. ➡️ 51-56% of people need #protectedbikelanes. They don't prevent group rides who can claim the lane instead. @BuonicontiFund

#paintisnotprotection. It's even more obvious when one realizes the bike lane is the only quality accommodation for those with wheelchairs. The Rickenbacker needs #protectedbikelanes. It won't prevent the group rides from claiming the lane if they prefer more space.
