I don't know who needs to hear this... but self-government requires people to do more than sit at home and bitch about how things are going.
Go vote! Get involved!
You can't just watch through the window -- DO SOMETHING BESIDES WHINE ABOUT IT!
"Reclaim The Promise!"
That's what it says on my yard signs and on my website. It's the phrase that informs my entire political value system and animates every policy idea I come up with.
The Promise of America. The ability to pursue your own path; to create, remake, relocate, build, marry, worship on your terms -- regardless of where you started in life. It's a level playing field and opportunity, not guarantees and outcomes.
Freedom - REAL freedom - isn't whether or not we have taxes. Freedom is whether we can direct our own lives. It's where self-government starts, and it won't happen by sitting in our living rooms.
Freedom demands personal agency.
The Promise of America means a large landowner has more ways to earn money from his land without being limited to farming it or selling it to a developer. And it means a developer has ways to build the housing we need without becoming a charity.
It means an entrepreneur can start a business up from his home rather than having to immediately pay for commercial space, and it means a retiree can rent out rooms in his or her home for whatever length of time they wish -- without having to beg for permission.
The Promise of America says that a young person can cut hair without needing a license or going through more training than a police officer needs.
It means a homeowner with a sunny field can create a microgrid with her neighbors without having to become a regulated utility.
It means a family that arrives here with little more than grit can open a restaurant, fill the jobs we can't fill, and become our neighbors.
It means a child's future isn't determined by zip code. Families who need a way out should have one. It means limited public dollars should only go where they're needed, and it means that the public schools down the road should be strong enough that most families won't want or need to leave in the first place.
Freedom and self-government invite people to get involved. That means you can run for office without having to clear bars that Ds or Rs don't have, every vote counts, and taxpayers stop paying for two private organizations to pick their nominees. And the government stops closing people out of volunteer work at the polls if they don't belong to one of the two "main" parties.
The Promise means government doesn't get to declare a whole group of people ineligible simply because they exist, but instead keeps the field level by focusing on the health and safety of the people.
THESE ideas are why I'm running. We need to remember who we are, and what we stand for.
Reclaim the Promise. It was made for us. It has to be kept BY us.
See you Tuesday at the polls!

You say you're fed up with the two parties and you want choices?
We're givin' ya choices! Come chat!

A quick NH reality check:
** If the Democrats take the legislative majority on Tuesday, we still won't have an income tax in NH.
** If the Tax Cap passes, schools aren't going to close. (And cuts aren't always a bad thing.)
All will be well. Go for a hike or somethin'.
Why are we building so many shiny red boots???

We really do need to start talking about some of this, NH.

And this, right here, makes this elected representative an enemy of America's founding Liberal Values. Pluralism DEMANDS more voices at the table.
I'm coming directly after this kind of attitude if I win.

These people are the reason the word "Libertarian" makes people cringe in New Hampshire.

The Rules have to apply equally to everybody. Otherwise, they apply to nobody.

A livestreamed public execution? Let's party! Invite the neighbors! Popcorn for the kids!! Show little Johnny a CLOSE-UP of Hasan's face when he dies! Janey can see the bullets as they hit his body!

HUGEly entertained by the numbers of people on this hellsite who appear to be completely consumed by "the other party". Talk about living rent-free in somebody's head!
Like... how is this different from TDS -- which can (and does) affect both sides of that argument as well?

Executing caged people is a barbaric holdover from Hammurabi-style "justice". It serves nothing other than bloodlust, and the risk -- even tiny -- of executing someone who is innocent is too great to take.
Keeping someone confined for the rest of their lives protects society just fine. That's enough.
In my texts this morning. I'm shocked, I tell you. SHOCKED!
Happily, the FedGov had that ~$1.9B laying around in cash, in pillow cases. Because we don't have a national debt problem to worry about or anything.

We have always judged a person on their own terms here. To do otherwise is NOT the New Hampshire way.
NH values are Classic Liberal values.

If a vote for the candidate is a vote for the org, apply it to Concord. The @NHGOP is ignoring how Trump’s Canada fight is hurting NH. SB 304 asked for a report, the Senate tabled it, 16–8. Partisanship again.
If an org owns silence, its state reps and candidates own it too.

Maybe not every individual Democrat is a communist, but the Democrat party as a political organization is pursuing socialist policies and openly welcomes and celebrates DSA members in their ranks (see: Mamdami).
When you're voting for an individual candidate, you're voting for the larger political organization (and agenda) behind them as much as you are voting for the individual.
Nobody's stupid enough to believe this. Not even his most ardent and deluded supporters. No way.

If Republicans win the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 2026 Midterm Elections, I’m going to give all adult citizens in the United States of America, $5,000! Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to signing those checks!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This $5,000 “Trump Dividend” promise was first made in Sept. 2026. Similar prior DOGE and tariff check pledges have not been paid out. It would cost ~$1.2 trillion and require congressional approval.

"I’ll be voting Republican straight ticket [..., b]ecause the alternative is letting communists take the majority"
Nonsense. Stop. I'm not a fan of the Dems, but they aren't "communists". This is flagrant fear-mongering, sadly coming from somebody who is smarter than that.
The reason things never improve in the federal government is BECAUSE the voters keep flipping between parties.
All that does is reset whatever progress was made so when it eventually flips back you’re further behind than when you started. That forces them to double down on the “solid” seats that survived the flip whether the candidate is good or bad. This is precisely how we end up with lifetime Congressman and Senators nobody actually wants.
If voters would commit to voting to hold the majority position, all seats are solid and you can work to primary out the bad/weak ones without risking losing the general.
So yeah, I’ll be voting Republican straight ticket, even if my preferred candidate didn’t win. Because the alternative is letting communists take the majority.
"Vote Red!!" "Vote Blue!!"
More than 90% of votes in Concord follow those colors. If that's how you think the system should be working, then you don't want representation; you want colored-cardboard cutouts.
Think. For. Yourselves.

A society that kills caged people is not civilized.

It's a Hammurabi hold-over. "Eye for an eye" kinda thing. Blood lust vengeance. Mob justice administered by the government in our names.
It's barbaric. But even if it wasn't, the risk of executing even a single innocent person is too high to take.
Absolutely we need to protect society from violent killers. That's what incarceration is supposed to do. But a society that kills caged people is not civilized.
