Oh.
Cordelia whistled to herself, eyeing the cigarettes and alcohol. She could get some stuff from the village, sure—but it was rare to find this stuff. Most people had Lady Dimitrescu's alcohol, and Cordelia didn't trust anything that came from a Lord.
She looked at Anna again with a slight smile. It wasn't a wide, beaming thing. It was subtle, a thin line stretched a little further and curved at the corners. Those big smiles weren't her type of thing. No big displays were typical for her.
Should Cordelia have cleaned? Maybe she should've cleaned. She thought about it briefly. Her place wasn't the messiest, but there was things she could sort out. She never got around to doing it, always hunting, always busy.
She reached out, grabbing Anna's hand. Her grip was firmer then intended when she shook it, but not harmful. Callous's covered her hands from hard work. She kept this cabin maintained all by herself, after all. She hunted and she killed animals, and monsters.
It wasn't often Cordelia had visitors. Most that she had, it seemed, were in some sort of danger that a remote location could help with, or were injured and she happened to be the only choice around.
It wasn't for a house call. It wasn't for something this peaceful.

The soft sound of Anna’s boots on the gravel mixed with the sounds of nature surrounding her. She was traveling to the coordinates provided to her, the collar of her jacket pulled up against the frigid breeze. Her auburn hair whipped in the occasional gust.
It was a surprise, then, to open the door and see Anna. She blinked a few times, scanning the woman over, and thanking herself for bolstering the shotgun on her back and not having it in her hands.
What was she doing here..
Oh, right.
