Grateful to have the opportunity to work with @RCSDNYS @asarrochester CIAS mentors. Day 1 of @NAESP National Principal Mentor Training. We rise by lifting others!
Blessed to have started the day with collaborative minds fighting for equity @RCSDNYS breaking barriers, building strong children and families through empowering education @ACruzPhommany @melody1987davis #RCSDMLNetwork
Motivated by the meaningful, impactful and practical approach to Culturally Responsive Pedagogy shared by @Malika_Ali of the @HighlanderInst today. TEACHERS-“We can make America what America must become. (James Baldwin)”@SavvasLearning
How often do we dismiss the intellectual capacity of struggling readers, particularly students of color? “If you are trying to learn to swim in deep water, you have to go to the deep end. You can’t limit students in shallow water.” Inspired by @AlfredTatum @SavvasLearning

Fired up! I'm ready to be the change we need to see! @PedroANoguera inspired my thinking about what schools can be after the pandemic...what if schools shouldn't return back to "normal" because "normal" wasn't equitable? CRISIS=DANGER+OPPORTUNITY!!!!
