It make huge difference. It means Sony has and will still have the capacity to produce discs. They left that door open.
Don’t let anyone convince you that our voices don’t matter. They fucking matter. Every post, every comment, every person speaking up puts more pressure on them and damages the image they’ve built. No matter how many followers you have. Your voice has to be loud!
That pressure reaches developers and partners too. Because when PlayStation announces something and nobody is talking about the actual games anymore, when the entire conversation becomes about greed, anti consumer decisions and frustration that becomes a problem they can’t simply ignore.

A new report claims PlayStation could be using social media bots to defend its decision to stop making physical game discs.
According to Moore’s Law Is Dead, AI was used to analyze accounts posting in support of PlayStation’s digital-only future.
The report says many of those accounts looked suspicious, with recent creation dates, AI-generated profile pictures, and very similar posting patterns.
