Especially a day before October 7th. Calgary's mayor had a proclamation to read at council. Jeromy Farkas declared October Canadian Islamic History Month on October 6. Federal Minister Marc Miller issued his own statement the same week. Farkas was elected a year ago this month. This is what made the council agenda.

Canada's Prime Minister hired a Hillary Clinton staffer. In July, Carney named Maia Johnson the first Chief Operating Officer in the history of the Prime Minister's Office. She ran scheduling for Clinton's 2016 campaign, worked on the Biden and Harris campaigns, and held a key role at Hawkfish, the Bloomberg-backed Democratic data firm. She's been inside the PMO since February. This is the office handling Canada's trade fight with Trump.

Too many people in Eastern and Central Canada don't understand the very real grievances that Alberta has. They don't get addressed. They are dismissed. This is part of why we are headed towards a referendum on exploring separation. Try listening to them.
