I don't think that Iran's IRGC has understood the meaning of the American shale revolution — and its impact on geopolitics. If they see high US oil exports as a vulnerability, they are getting it very, very, very wrong:

Really? Because over the past 30 years, China's GHG emissions are up 240%. They're laughing at fools like you who sabotage your own industries, while they emit whatever they want.
China is the largest producer of green house emissions and consumes more coal than all other countries combined.

An armed clash between Iran’s security forces and gunmen continued for several hours on Thursday in the Manzelab area near Zahedan, with heavy gunfire and rocket-propelled grenade fire reported, according to Halvash.
The outlet, which covers developments in the southeastern Sistan-Baluchestan province, said the fighting began around 6 a.m. The identities of those involved and any possible casualties were not immediately known.
The IRGC said later that it had killed six people it described as members of a “terrorist” group during clashes in the Manzelab area.
According to the Islamic Revolutionary Guards, the group had planned an attack in the area and that security forces found several explosive devices.

Frankly disgusting that the co-pilot is being judged on the basis of something that happened hours ago. Right now he’s just focused on getting Medicare for All.
Following situation assessments and passenger testimonies, Israel is treating the incident as a full-fledged terrorist attack. It appears that the co-pilot repeatedly stabbed the captain. Once the attack began, several crew members and passengers managed to break through the cockpit door and subdue the attacker.
According to one senior official, the co-pilot is currently being questioned, and indications are mounting that he intended to take control of the plane and crash it with the passengers on board.

Unofficial Translation of Israeli PM Netanyahu’s statement:
This morning, there was an extremely serious security incident on a flight from Dubai to Israel. Almost all of the passengers on the flight were Israelis.
During the flight, as they were approaching Israel, one of the pilots stabbed the other pilot, and apparently attempted to crash the plane with everyone on board.
I spoke with one of the Israeli passengers. He told me that the plane began to spin and dive. He told me that, somehow, he managed to break into the cockpit together with one of the crew members, and that together they neutralized the pilot who carried out the stabbing while he was attempting to sabotage the aircraft’s systems.
Another aircrew member who was on the plane entered the cockpit and managed to stabilize the aircraft.
I salute these heroes, who demonstrated extraordinary resourcefulness and courage. They saved many lives. They prevented a major disaster.
The plane landed safely at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia. All of the passengers are out of danger.
The pilot who carried out the stabbing was arrested. He is currently being questioned by the Saudi authorities.
We are maintaining continuous contact with the relevant authorities in order to ensure the passengers’ continued safety and to ensure their safe return home to Israel.
I have instructed the security services to prepare for additional potential threats.
We are conducting ongoing situational assessments, and we will update you in accordance with developments.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz:
The serious incident aboard the FlyDubai aircraft was an attempted jihadist terrorist attack, which was thwarted only thanks to the bravery of several Israeli passengers who broke into the cockpit, overpowered the terrorist, and with their own hands returned control of the aircraft to an additional flight crew that was present there.
According to the preliminary information in our possession, the terrorist had one intention: to crash the aircraft with all its passengers aboard.
When the Prime Minister and I issue security warnings and alerts based on intelligence, everyone would do well—including our enemies abroad and out-of-date former officials at home—to listen and take them seriously.
Every warning has multiple intended audiences and purposes. Most importantly, the warnings never come at the expense of the proactive and offensive operations we are leading together with the IDF against every threat—and they are no substitute for them.

The question is what is the share of Iranian oil labeled as Iraqi and exported through the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran is losing its grip on Hormuz
Regional energy flows are rising, while Tehran’s exports are plunging
As sanctions tighten, the status quo is increasingly costly for Iran
It may respond by escalating
