What a guy. We produce people like this in Britain and we elect people like Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage. That’s the British disease laid bare.

Nothing has changed, genius. You have less than 0.8% of MPs so you get that proportion of an 11 member committee, which is less than a tenth of a person. While you meet that criteria in terms of intellect, the rules sadly do not make allowance for that.
Political Stitch Up Labour has decided to modernise the way Parliament works. They have decided that smaller parties like @reformparty_uk are not allowed to sit on the Select Committees and hold them to account. I said this earlier 👇
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Labour has not changed the existing Committee system as claimed here. It has always been the case that the number of seats a party has in committees is proportionate to the number of MPs a party has in the House. Reform are a smaller party with just 5 MPs. guidetoprocedure.parliament.uk/collections/Sk…

When blackbirds sing more than usual in the morning, rain is coming. When the rain arrives other birds fall silent, but the blackbird keeps singing, seemingly encouraged by the rain. It will sing through a storm with great passion. #FolkyFriday #FolkloreSunday

I firsr met Jacob Rees-Mogg when he was about 23. He sat at a lunch table and shared opinions that were so fucking dim witted that I thought he was joking. He wasn't joking. And thirty years later - the joke is on us. Stop voting for stupid people with posh accents.
