IT'S NOT TOO LATE This Saturday hundreds of people will be outside the US Embassy in London with signs reading "I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action". Missed last night's open call? It's not too late to get involved. Visit wedonotcomply.org for more information.

The absence of any kind of radical Burnhamite programme in the budget is only surprising if you believed he had one. As I wrote months ago, that’s not who Burnham is. He’s a connection politician not a conviction politician. By their budgets shall ye know them and now we know.

The Israeli election proves definitively a) that a clear majority of Jewish Israelis are psychotically racist and b) the opposition will only oust the psychotically racist right by allying with Palestinians which they won't do because ... see point a).

Journalists should be able to question politicians without being smeared and libelled like this. Defenders of the Israeli government have run out of rational arguments to support it. Please help protect independent journalism and support us here: 👉 declassifieduk.org/join pic.x.com/DNMYxk9CGG

"Jewish Israeli and Palestinian Israeli parties teaming up to form a coalition is seen as a political taboo – particularly after anti-Arab sentiment rose in the wake of the October 7 attacks" Gdn-speak to describe a political system is that deeply racist and normally works on the understanding that Palestinian votes don't count. theguardian.com/world/live/2…

This is frankly disgusting from @TiceRichard. Solidarity with @declassifiedUK who are a superb journalistic outlet and put Britain's mainstream media to shame.
Declassified are a deeply antisemitic organisation who bully and intimidate their opponents

Israel going to the polls changes NOTHING for Palestinians. Western media treats the election as a contest between Netanyahu’s far-right coalition and a "moderate" opposition. In reality, the alternative to Netanyahu is an alliance of generals and hardliners who have driven the exact same machinery of violence and dispossession for decades: Gadi Eisenkot: The opposition frontrunner who formulated the Dahiya doctrine—mandating the deliberate, disproportionate destruction of civilian infrastructure. He sat in the war cabinet over Gaza and dismissed ICC war crimes investigations as "antisemitism." Yair Lapid: The supposed centrist whose stated principle is "maximum Jews on maximum land with minimum Palestinians." Avigdor Lieberman: Declared "there are no innocents in Gaza" while cutting off water, power, and food. Naftali Bennett: Boasted on record, "I have killed many Arabs in my life, and there is no problem with that." As Peter Oborne reports from the West Bank, an opposition victory might actually be far more dangerous internationally. It would provide Western allies with the diplomatic PR cover they crave to drop pressure, restore impunity, and pretend Israel is back to being a "rules-based democracy." Meanwhile, on the ground: State-armed settlers continue expelling Palestinian communities at gunpoint. Demolitions across East Jerusalem accelerate unabated. Human rights bodies document systemic, industrial torture across detention camps. The ballot box in Tel Aviv is not a choice between occupation and peace. It is a choice between overt extremism under Netanyahu and an internationally sanitized version of the exact same apartheid state under his rivals.

A Campaign Against Antisemitism steward was filmed by Al Jazeera offering to provide “muscle” at a rally organised by Turning Point UK, a far right group that Al Jazeera revealed to have links to Loyalist paramilitary contract killers. The CAA was already thoroughly discredited last December when a judge ruled a case it had brought against the comedian Reginald Hunter was “vexatious” and “abusive” and aimed purely at getting him “cancelled”. So horrified was the judge by their behaviour he instructed a copy of his ruling to be attached to any future legal action brought by the CAA. It is astonishing the CAA still has charitable status and more astonishing still that the BBC interviews it as being representative of the Jewish community. Lorna Hosford reports for Double Down Newswatch.

For a slightly less rose-tinted view of the Israeli opposition watch Peter Oborne on Double Down Newswatch. /1
The BBC’s Middle East correspondent frames the Israeli elections as Netanyahu against “leftist” and “centrist” figures like Eisenkot, whom she describes as “softly spoken” and “lowkey”. What she leaves out is that he’s a former general and the architect of the Dahiyeh Doctrine, which calls for disproportionate force and deliberate targeting of civilians and their infrastructure. In what world is that left wing?

Watch this. Lubna Speitan, author of the Greens4Palestine motion “Zionism is racism”, spells out the central obscenity of our age – the grotesque inversion whereby the victims of ethnic cleansing, Apartheid and genocide must constantly fend off accusations from their tormentors that it is they who are the racists. “We as Palestinians are being silenced and gaslit and vilified [as we] witness the annihilation, the cold-blooded murder of our families, of our people… our children burnt with phosphorus, having to endure amputations with no anaesthetic, having their limbs torn and shredded, their bodies burnt by phosphorus, being starved to death … And to have to sit here … and try to bury my feelings so I can eloquently and diplomatically shield my anger, my rage, my anguish that every Palestinian is feeling, is an insult.” /1

On October 25, 2026, Israel continued its daily slaughter. Here are the people it killed over those 24 hours: 1) Taghreed Mohammed Karajeh, a woman, west of Khan Younis. Shot dead Saturday evening by Israeli soldiers inside the al-Zahraa School, where displaced families are sheltering. 2) Ibrahim Amin Hassan Abu Gharabeh, 33, central Gaza. Gaza’s Health Ministry says his body was handed back two weeks after Israeli forces seized him and he died in their custody. Other outlets say he was shot east of al-Masdar. 3) Fatima al-Bayouk, 8, east of Deir al-Balah. Shot by Israeli soldiers on al-Mazraa Street and died of her wounds. She was the only member of her family to survive the Israeli strike that destroyed their home at the end of 2023. 4) Hamdan Salman Abu Amra, 33, east of Deir al-Balah. Displaced from his home. Killed Sunday morning by an Israeli drone strike on the al-Mazraa area. 5) Fawzi Salem al-Sawarka, 54, Gaza City. Killed Sunday when an Israeli drone fired on a group of people on the coastal road next to Hamad Hospital. Three others were wounded, including a child. 6) Nabil Ahmed Abu Zayed, 25, Khan Younis. Killed Sunday with his brother in an Israeli strike in the industrial area northwest of the city. Five others were wounded, two critically. 7) Alaa Ahmed Abu Zayed, Khan Younis. Nabil’s brother. Killed in the same strike. 8) Sami Baroud, Gaza City. An employee of the Islamic University of Gaza. Killed Sunday when an Israeli drone struck the campus for the second time in an hour. The first strike had wounded more than five students. 9) Ashraf Dahlan, Gaza City. Islamic University employee. Killed in the same strike. 10) Shadi Abu Ataya, Gaza City. Islamic University employee. Killed in the same strike. Just another random day of a supposed ceasefire. But every day, Israel kills multiple people. Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed: Gaza: 74,544 people, 1,551 of them since the October 2025 ceasefire. West Bank including East Jerusalem: at least 1,143 people, including 243 children. Lebanon: 8,956 people since Oct 8, 2023. Syria: at least 558 people in 2024 and 2025 alone.

The authentic voice of Israeli "liberalism." Linda Dayan lists the memories that will haunt her on election day. It would seem that after 3 yrs of genocide the 21,000 plus slaughtered children of Gaza have yet to intrude on her consciousness. haaretz.com/israel-news/haar…
