I love this. Thanks so much for sharing @michaelsumnerjr and @bhallwfmy. My Dad loved covering local athletes and sharing their stories. He would be thrilled for Justin. Such a cool picture.
Rooting for Gainey and the Pack!
This 4th quarter sequence from @AppState_FB was electric! Kidd Brewer was rocking last night. Special.

UCLA vibing to every teams end of third quarter song is one College Football's best newest traditions
Piles are getting dirty. Check 19 at the end of the play on Trigg here @MillyGoats
Brutal half of football to watch (conditions are terrible in Boone) but this play was wild.
App recovered the fumble and then threw an INT on the next play.
At this point just survive and advance
Preseason electricity. Felt like I was with my Dad in 98! The coliseum has the smell! @JohnIsner @Grahamsandwich @Canes
A finish you have to see to believe. 🤯
Felix Unger Sorum completes a five-goal comeback and gets the win for the #Canes.

Wonderful, and important article about Shawn Clark’s passing and the legacy his family is carrying forward. Definitely worth a read.

According to @joeovies & @giglio_OG podcast today the Stanley Cup could be at tailgates Saturday.
I would love to see the cup find its way to @bigCtailgate (@bigCasu) and see what sort of items they would consume out of it.

One year ago, we lost Shawn Clark.
This is how you should remember him as a coach.
Sending love to Jonelle, his family and my friends at App State.

It’s been a year since our friend and Appalachian brother, Shawn Clark, passed. A great man who accomplished so much in his career, playing and coaching. A good man who loved his family well. He set an example for how to be a great husband and father. We miss the conversations, the jokes, the stories, the insight, the wisdom, and most importantly HIM!
In a heavily corporatized age of college sports, he was truly old school. He told the world during his introductory press conference in December 2019 that he was inspired by Coach Moore to coach the game of football. Coach Moore’s mantra “it’s about people”lived on through Shawn’s coaching career in practice, not cheap lip service . Shawn positively impacted thousands of lives, including ours.
On the media side of things Shawn was extremely accessible, affable, and frankly hilarious. As the saying goes, a rising tide lifts all boats. Shawn Clark lifted the spirits of every room he walked in whether it was a press conference, fundraising event, or a simple podcast appearance.
When the tears burn hot today remember it is because of the kind of man he was and the kind of legacy he left. A young man with so much left to give is gone too soon. He walked the walk. We are all better for having had Shawn Clark in our lives.
We will always love you, Shawn. Thank you for being a great example for us to follow in life. See you down the road, brother.
Go Apps!

This was part of the intro video at Carter Finley Stadium when App played at NC State 20 years ago
It’s a scene from 40 Year Old Virgin, (very culturally relevant at the time) and AI’d an N64 GameCube looking Yosef in for Steve Carell 😂 pretty funny!
Very impressed with the students. Was talking with my old roommates and I think after 3.5 hours we would have been fully immersed at the bar or a house/apt party somewhere. Hill was pretty filled in and the bulk of student area was rowdy. A night App fans will always remember
.@ItzLiveee were you at the game last night? What does the team need to improve in before NC State and conference play?
Highlight of the ECU game for me was Trigg Lewis @TriggLewis4 (Ft. Lauderdale native) hitting the Choppa City Juke! Unreal dance. Paying homage to Chris Johnson maybe?? Florida legend.
Do we have anyone who could ask about this? Ethan?? @AdamBWitten @bretstrelow ?
