AI data centers are gross because they require a vast amount of potable water for cooling. They lose most of this water to evaporation. The remaining water contains concentrations of minerals, salt, and dissolved solids. It eventually gets treated and dumped into municipal water treatment plants.
Even though the earth over covered with water, less than 1% is potable.
Water, along with electricity, will be a resource humans will have to compete with data centers for. Which will have priority, humans or data centers?

Ever had 5 cards shipped in the same top loader?? Apparently Starlight Games LLC does this. 💀💀💀
The regular cover of Batman issue 15, coming out today, looks amazing. It's an outstanding execution of composition and the use of negative space.
I like it. A lot.

If you serve frozen pizza, or chicken nuggets for dinner, you are a terrible parent.
I don’t care how busy you are…
Find the time to microwave the stuff…
I completed my ballot. I need to drop it off at a ballot drop off location. I might go buy something superfluous afterwords to celebrate democracy.

Today I learned that evidently a lot of Star Wars fans don't know who Andy Weir is, and have terrible reading comprehension problems.
Andy Weir, author of The Martian and Project Hail Mary, has a great pitch for more stories in the Star Wars universe:
“I feel like the best way, in my opinion, to do another 'Star Wars' movie — and I'm not George Lucas and this might be a terrible idea — but would be to have the story of other people during the Galactic Civil War.
Think of it like this: We know what happened in World War II, but there are some really good fictional stories that take place during World War II. So if you treat the Galactic Civil War as, 'Okay, that's established canon, those are the things that happened,' but there's still a lot of stories to tell about other people living through those wars. So that's what I would do."

I'm waiting for the day when I visit ICv2 and the first story is NOT about Diamond Comic Distributors.
Diamond, under Steve Geppi's management, did more damage to comics than Fredric Wertham could have ever hoped to do.

This is how I received a $180 card.
No penny sleeve. No bubble wrap. No stiff support.
Straight raw dogging the bubble mailer.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman believes people owning RAM is wasteful, and that it belongs in data centers instead.
"From a global allocation perspective, actually, it’s quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer."
It amazes me that we carry the world’s knowledge in our pockets, yet so many people still choose to be dumber than a doorknob.

Scared shitless about being investigated 🤣
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

The Roman legion was not feared simply because its soldiers carried swords and shields. Its real strength was discipline.
A legion could march for miles, build a fortified camp before nightfall, hold formation under pressure, and then fight as one organized force. Every soldier had a place in the line. Every shield protected more than one man.
Rome did not conquer its world through one great battle alone. It did it through training, engineering, logistics, roads, walls, and legions that could keep moving long after other armies had broken apart.
The legion was Rome’s ultimate weapon—and its greatest symbol of order in a dangerous world.
This is a giant kick to the nuts.
Patrick Stewart, who will be remembered most for his roles as Captain Jean-Luc Picard on “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and as Professor Charles Xavier in the “X-Men” films, has died at 86.

Hey @covrprice, you need to fix your website. When looking at the price data for a RAW regular cover of ABSOLUTE BATMAN #1, it shows the last sale was $100.
The date of that sale? October 14, 2026.
When I click on "View Sales," it takes 30,000 ms for the page to load.
Evidently someone looked at the price and decided they weren’t going to pay it.
Nope.
