Halftime in Real Madrid’s first game of the season. 0-0 with Atalanta in the #UEFASuperCup. Mbappé playing through the middle, Vini and Rodrygo either side. Lots of ground for Valverde and Bellingham to cover in midfield. Rodrygo went closest to scoring, hitting the bar.

🇫🇷 RIP Girondins de Bordeaux, 1920-2024.
Amidst crisis-level financial troubles, Bordeaux have informed the FFF they won't be renewing their professional licence. All player contracts are to be terminated and their training centre will be closed.
Feel for the fans on this one.

Delighted to announce that tomorrow marks my first day at @ITVCentral
Hopefully this illustrates my affinity for the region. Adding to the allure of joining such an acclaimed broadcaster.
Anyway, probably time to build on these special memories with some new ones 🧑💻

📚 Pretty surreal to walk into a @Waterstones and see your book on the shelf.
Especially when it’s something I’ve always dreamed about.
When I came to the UK I was 10 years old. I couldn’t speak a word of English but I always knew I wanted to write. So I learnt.
I started blogging and writing about football in English when I was 12 years old - 14 years ago.
I now write and speak the language better than my mother tongue. I have a degree in English, work as a journalist and have a book that is sold in UK book stores nationwide.
Rise of the Underdogs was four years of work. Countless interviews and travels along the way. It’s got my best writing and work. There’s interviews in there with international coaches and Premier League players.
I’m incredibly proud of what I have achieved. But this is just the beginning.
Anyway, after seeing my book in Waterstones yesterday I decided to sign a copy. So if you live near Southampton, there’s a signed copy up for grabs in the Waterstones store there.
