Tonight, we gathered to honor and remember a hero who made the ultimate sacrifice. Deputy Andrew Nunez was more than a deputy. He was a protector, a husband, a father, a son, and a friend. As we stood together in solemn remembrance, we reflected on Andrew’s courage, his dedication to duty, and the many qualities that made him so special to each of us. His sacrifice will never be forgotten, and his legacy will forever live in our hearts. John 15:13 “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” We will never forget you, Andrew. @sbcountysheriff @RanchoPD @Dodgers

One year has passed since we lost Deputy Andrew Nunez, but the love, memories, and legacy he left behind remain as strong as ever. At a heartfelt candlelight vigil, Sheriff Shannon Dicus and his Executive Staff joined the Rancho Cucamonga Station and Andrew’s beloved family to honor his life and legacy. As candles illuminated the night, we remembered not only the deputy who dedicated his life to serving others, but also the loving husband, father, friend, and hero whose absence is felt every day.

Hidden “drop” cameras have reportedly been found near homes across Southern California and may be linked to organized residential burglary crews. Stay aware, look out for your neighbors, and report suspicious devices to local law enforcement. Don’t touch or remove them.
