I am tired of being held hostage to the notion people will kill themselves if they’re held accountable for their actions.
What a devastating story. This guy was just 20 years old, graduated high school in the US, and was a member of JROTC. He was terrified of being sent back to the violence in Haiti, so he threw himself under a truck. The lack of compassion in this debate is really something. RIP.

I'm sorry, but throwing yourself in front of a truck is a very violent, painful, and not even guaranteed way to off yourself. You *really* have to be off your rocker. But this guy supposedly did that because he was afraid of "violence in Haiti"???? BS. There was something else happening and now this is yet another attempt at sympathy for criminals. THEY. ALL. MUST. GO.

Or if the rest of society doesn't play along with their delusions born of mental illness.

The left used that argument to get people to trans their kids.

Hey @billybinion I think we need more of the stupids taking themselves out.

What exactly was Pierre’s “action” for which he needed to be held accountable? He lawfully received TPS dreaming of being an AMERICAN, went to school, graduated with honors, joined JROTC, worked, and enrolled in college. Then the government terminated it. That’s pretty evil.

His asylum case was still pending with a court hearing scheduled for October 2026, he was not at risk of being deported unless and until his asylum had been denied

Honestly, if they threaten to self-delete in response to accountability I accept the terms. Let the trash take itself out.

Emotional blackmail is the left’s go to strategy.

“held accountable” for…graduating high school?

People are making assumptions about how this kid came to die. No one really knows if he committed suicide or not. Did he leave a suicide note? Sure does make good fodder for the anti-ice people though.

What actions was he accountable for?

What “actions?” He came to the US to study and was treated atrociously.

They didn’t care about Jocelyn Nungaray, she was only 12 years old, and had no choice in how she left this world.

It is sad he died. But it is his families fault for not understanding their status. I also think with tps there should be a pathway if they are contributing to society and not being mooches

What “actions” did he need to be held accountable for? Being Hatian?

He went to my Alma mater. This is big news in Ohio today

They started the ‘give into our demands or we will kill ourselves’ thing with the trans issue. People just don’t care anymore.

Not to mention it probably wasn’t even suicide.

So now WP says we "believe" it's a suicide. Must be an election year.
5
What? What is it that you think this 20 year old did?
12
Yeah, the "OMG I might die if I go back I think I'll just kill myself now" argument doesn't really resonate with me.
1
What actions? He was here legally. He did nothing wrong. You are morally bankrupt
2
What actions did he do
147
Well, apparently not just a notion, eh? More a reality. You just want the be okay with the reality.
115
What do you mean held hostage, theyre actively deporting people before and after this happening
58
So you don't think policies should at least take into account that some may choose to kill themselves as a reaction to them?
183
What action? He legally sought asylum in the United States.
2
In this context, this is cruelty.

Look, if that’s the consequence, who cares if they will do that to themselves oh well
