Governor Healey had committed to voters that she would participate in 3 debates. However 90% and 95% surveyed in the Boston Herald voted that Minogue won both debates. Maura Healey canceled our third debate this week. She again broke her word to voters. She stated in September she would debate anytime and three were confirmed. It is on video- just like “remember I stopped 2 gas pipelines from coming into this state” but now says she tried to bring in gas pipelines. No integrity is the norm for Maura Healey. Leaders have integrity.

I’m fortunate. I’ve been successful in business, I have money, I don’t have to worry about our financial future. I donate my entire MP salary to local charities, to show that I’m in politics for the right reasons. I’ll be honest. I don’t have to worry about paying the mortgage each month, or having enough money to buy the children what they want for their birthday, or even being able to put food on the table. I don’t, but I know millions of Brits do. That’s the brutal reality. Hardworking British men and women should not have to live like that. If you work hard, put the hours in and live honestly? You should be rewarded for it, properly. That means lower tax, MUCH lower tax and higher thresholds, but it also means a state that can keep inflation under control so that the cost of living does not outstrip your wage. Fuel, food shop, clothes, electricity. Everything. It all gets more expensive whilst so many earn the same. Inflation. All driven up by the decisions of politicians who will never have to live with the consequences of their actions. Our economy is completely broken. It works for the international corporates, the bureaucrats, the London managers. It does NOT work for the plumber, the entrepreneur, the farmer, the construction worker, the hairdresser, the nurse, the sole trader, the HGV driver, the police officer. We must aim to entirely reshape how the economy works so that vast profits made from British workers are not shifted offshore through complex corporate structures whilst working families are bled dry by our corrupt state. I want family businesses to thrive, entrepreneurs to succeed, risk-takers to flourish. Those who contribute, protect and enhance our society rewarded. I want the shirkers and piss-takers crushed. That’s what I want. That’s what Restore Britain wants. I don’t want the parasitic global corporations or our rotten state profiting off the ingenuity and sweat of the British risk-taker. Rotten monopolies that have no respect for the individual will end. In short - an economy that provides for our people. There is ONE way out. A Britain that lives within it means. Just as we all have to, our state must do the same. Spend less than it earns. It’s that simple. That is how we make Britain affordable again, make Britain ambitious again and make Britain work again. That’s what a Restore Britain Government will deliver. Release the innate brilliance and tenacity of the British people. Our entrepreneurial spirit conquered the world before and we can do it again.

My 80-year-old neighbour ran out of her blood pressure medication three days ago because she couldn't outsmart an AI voice tree. She called the pharmacy: “Press 1 if you have the app. Press 2 to receive a text link. Say 'Refill' to speak to the digital assistant.” She kept repeating, “I just need my pills, dear.” The automated system told her: “I didn't understand that response,” looped three times, and hung up on her. She didn't want to bother her kids at work, so she just started cutting her remaining pills in halves, then in quarters, trying to stretch them. When I checked on her this morning, her blood pressure was 195/110 and she was so dizzy she couldn't stand. I drove down to the store, stood at the counter, and had the refill in four minutes. The pharmacist told me: “Corporate cut our phone staff last year to push customers toward the mobile app.” If a senior citizen has to risk a stroke because your board of directors wanted to trim payroll with an automated phone loop, your business model is predatory. Full stop.

The equality worth fighting for is equality before the law, not equality of outcomes. It means no one is born with the right to rule another, and no one is born obligated to serve another. It protects your freedom to differ in ambition, ability, wealth, and achievement without granting anyone superior rights or claims upon your life and property. And it protects you from being forced to finance the government's preferred conception of equality. True political equality protects everyone's equal rights, including the right to be unequal in every other respect.

For the record, I have no problems with Boomers. I have a problem with the propaganda they were raised to believe, yes, but people of ALL generations have been lied to by their governments, including my own. They're just living in the ways they were raised to believe were true. Blaming one generation over the other solves nothing. The PROBLEM is government.

Seriously, shut up. The amount of taxes we have to pay is ridiculous. Let me lay it out for ya, son. I work hard all week and earn a salary, which comes in a biweekly paycheck. But before I see a cent of it, the federal government takes its share. Depending on your income bracket, they take 10–37% of that right off the top. Then, it gets taxed again at 15.3% for FICA: 12.4% gets stolen for Social Security and 2.9% goes to Medicare. Then depending on which state you live in, you might be required to pay state income tax. States like Florida and Tennessee have none, some have a flat rate (e.g., Idaho and Georgia), and others have progressive rates based on income brackets. In California, high income earners take a 13.3% hit. Then after the federal and state governments have gotten their greedy hands on my paycheck, suppose I decide to be responsible and save a portion of what's left in a savings account and earn a little interest on it. Guess what? The IRS wants a cut of that, too. So, the money I earned that was already taxed is now subject to the same income taxes. Let's now suppose I decide to invest some of that in the stock market. I buy shares in a company (e.g., Tesla), take on the risk of losing my investment, and hopefully make a profit. Well, if I sell those shares for a gain, Uncle Sam comes knocking on my door again. Depending on how long I held the investment and my taxable income, I may owe 0%, 15%, or 20% in federal long-term capital gains taxes, potentially another 3.8% in net investment income tax, plus applicable state taxes. And short-term gains can be taxed at the ordinary income tax rates of 10–37%. And if I decide to spend my money? You guessed it. More taxes, baby! 45 states and many localities impose sales taxes, meaning I get taxed again when I buy groceries, clothes, household appliances, consumer electronics, and practically anything else. In some places, the combined state and local sales taxes exceed 10%. Louisiana's sales tax alone is 10.11%! Wanna buy a house with the money you have spent years saving? Congratulations, bucko! Now you're responsible for paying property taxes, which you will be obligated to pay every single year. And if you fail to pay it for long enough, you will eventually lose the property through a tax sale or foreclosure. So much for actually owning something, right? Wanna buy a vehicle? Depending on your state, you may owe sales tax and annual registration fees. And in some states (my home state of Virginia comes to mind), you are required to pay property taxes on that, too. Then, every time you fill up your tank at the pump, you have to pay gas taxes. The federal government collects $0.18 / gallon, and state and local governments pile their own taxes on top of that. Now, suppose I decide not to spend or invest any of my remaining money at all. I just keep it in cash. Well, inflation gradually erodes its purchasing power away year after year. It's not an enforced tax, but a hidden one that the federal government has done nothing to stop because we're no longer on the Gold Standard and we run massive deficits each year that is financed by monetary expansion (i.e., “printing”) to pay for socialist welfare and wealth transfer programs as well as endless wars in the Middle East. The bottom line is that I get taxed when I work hard and earn money. I get taxed again on the interest when I save that money. I get taxed a third time on the profits when I invest it. I get taxed when I spend it. I get taxed for “owning” property. And I get taxed when I drive. And yes, I'm much aware that we need at least some taxation to pay for things like national defense, public roads, and basic services to have a functioning society. Nobody really disagrees with that. But it does not mean every tax is justified or that the government should have an unlimited claim on the fruits of our labor. And if you look at the state of our roads in many states (Pennsylvania and New York's roads suck ass, Alabama's are nice, however) and public schools, it's abundantly clear that our tax dollars aren't being used wisely. Our founding fathers waged a revolution against Great Britain over far less atrocities than this.

They still don't understand Gen X in the workplace. We don't want free pizza parties. We don't want mandatory team-building retreats. We don't want motivational speeches about being a family. And we definitely don't want another company-branded coffee mug. You know what we want? 💰 Pay us what we're worth. 🏖️ Let us take our vacation days without guilt. 🏡 Respect our time outside of work. 🤝 Trust us to do the job we were hired to do. 📵 Stop expecting us to be available 24/7. We're not looking for an office to become our second home. We have lives, families, responsibilities, and better things to do than pretend a pizza party makes up for being underpaid and overworked. Pay us fairly, respect our boundaries, and let us get on with our lives. That's the perk. That's the culture. That's it. 😂
