I recorded a video on Patrick Stewart's autobiography several months back. His early life growing up in the north of England was compelling.
His portrayal of Picard was an example of dignified equanimity under pressure for me as a kid.

News has broken that the great Sandy Frank, prolific producer/distributor, MST3K icon, and the man who brought Gamera and BATTLE OF THE PLANETS to U.S. television, passed away on October 20th. He was 97 years old.
May your memory be a blessing, sir. Rest well, and thank you.
