For over a year, I poured my heart and soul into my old channel, but with 0 success. Everything went horrible and I had to restart.
2 years later, we finally did it. Thank you so much for 1M, you all made my childhood dream come true.
Thank you Jesus for this 2nd chance ✝️

I never said it wasn’t hard for others, nor did I say being a YouTuber isn’t a privilege. All I said was being a YouTuber isn’t easy.
Not quite sure why people are taking my response and misconstruing my words. I never once said being a YouTuber is harder than a 9-5. All I said is that being a YouTuber is not easy and comes with its own struggles and challenges that many people never see.

If you react to someone's content on ANY platform, the original creator should ALWAYS be compensated.
no good deed goes unpunished
As the guy who got him into RDC in the first place (through a +1), I have to say that what he did was incredibly irresponsible and selfish.
When he came to me and asked for an invite, he did not tell me anything about his plan to interrupt the RDC stage. He did not mention that once to me, or any of his friends, which Matt himself admitted in his interview with Chris Hansen.

I have known Matt for quite some time (and no, he is not my manager, he's just a YouTube friend who I registered to RDC as a business partner) and he always seemed level-headed and respectful. So when he told me that he wanted to do a simple interview with people there for his video, I decided to give him my +1, because I'm blessed enough to be in a position where I can give a smaller creator this opportunity. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go myself due to plans, but I happily allowed my friend to fill in my role and say hi to everyone for me.
Which is why I was absolutely shocked when I heard about what he did at RDC. In hindsight I definitely should not have trusted him with my +1.
While I sort of understand his thought process on why he did it, I think it was extremely careless of him to pull a stunt like that without considering how it would impact my career, and all of his friends' careers. It also holds back the entire movement because bro what kids are you protecting by shouting "WE DESERVE BETTER" on stage? 😭😭😭
We've talked things out and I've forgiven him, so don't go harass him or anything. But because of his actions, I'm now banned from attending future RDC events and I'm currently at risk of losing my own Roblox account, which is why I'm making this tweet to explain a bit of my side.
With that all said, I apologize on behalf of Matt and to all the people he might've affected or scared at RDC.

if you want to become a youtuber, you need to start making videos TODAY and stop waiting or trying to make the perfect video
you will NOT make a 10/10 video starting out, your goal should just be to make videos you think are decent enough and improve something each time
please stop procrastinating or trying to reinvent the wheel! every day you wait, more competition comes

Look at this new graph.
YouTube is eating the competition and replacing traditional media.
This is the industry to be in.
