Can we talk about the fact that Democrats just sprinted into court to stop President Trump from enforcing a 144-year-old law that says you don’t get to live here if you’re going to live off American taxpayers? They’re literally suing to keep the welfare tap open for people who aren’t citizens. They don’t even bother hiding it anymore. Their job isn’t representing the citizens of the United States. It’s protecting the people draining the system.
🚨BREAKING: The Trump Administration has invoked the long-unenforced Immigration Act of 1882 to prohibit entry into the United States of “any convict, lunatic, idiot, or any person unable to take care of himself or herself without becoming a public charge.” Ultimately, this will allow the Trump Administration to deny green cards to immigrants who are likely to use federal welfare, food stamps, or Medicaid, and to revoke the green cards of immigrants who are currently using these programs. The new rule is set to take effect Friday, September 18. As a result, 5.6 million immigrants are expected to lose access to those benefits, and American taxpayers are expected to save $13 billion per year. Follow: @MorseReport

As a @Mizzou alum, they shouldn’t receive a dollar of federal money, IRS tax exempt status, or any grant money. Pathetic losers.
BREAKING: University of Missouri professor caught admitting on undercover video that they "found clever ways to continue to have DEI centers but not call them that." "It was mostly cosmetic." "Lots of us do DEI types of research." What's going on here, @Mizzou?

To every pro lifer in Virginia: Please, listen to the Bishop. In Michigan, Planned Parenthood spent millions of dollars and flooded the airways to ensure we would enshrine in our constitution the most radical pro-abortion position possible. Catholics lined right up and voted for it. I’m not exaggerating when I say I have never recovered from it and I don’t know if I ever will. You can’t know how horrible it feels to wake up one morning and watch the news and know that legalized murder is now the normative part of the life of your state. I beg you, vote against this horror. Do not let anything keep you away from the Booth. Put it in your calendar, show up and vote. The pro-life movement does not have the backing of any political party, they don’t have a government funded multibillion dollar industry like Planned Parenthood: their blood soaked hands are filled with money. You won’t be able to use the media to tell the truth, it’s on you. Share your heart and tell people that at some point, we have to draw the line. If that’s not a human in the womb, then what is it? When does it become a human? What scientific criteria do people use to make that determination? These are the only questions that matter. Everything else is a distraction and a diversion. Pray. Fast. Lovingly tell people the truth. Vote.
🚨A RARE MOVE by a Virginia Bishop Ahead of Election Day "Catholic Bishop Michael Burbidge says he has never before asked every priest in his diocese to do what he requested this weekend: read a letter at Mass urging Catholics to oppose two Virginia constitutional amendments on abortion and marriage." "Across 70 parishes serving more than 430,000 Catholics in Northern Virginia, worshippers heard Burbidge warn against what he called 'two dangerous ballot initiatives'—proposed constitutional amendments that Virginians will decide Nov. 3. Early voting begins Friday." "The effort follows a joint statement Burbidge issued with Richmond Bishop Barry Knestout in August. In his latest letter, Burbidge urged parishioners to pledge to vote at CatholicsVoteNo.com, cast ballots early beginning Friday, and encourage their family, friends, and colleagues to oppose the amendments." ... Laxmi, I was born and raised here. My family is from here. The surname Gonzales has existed in what is now Texas since 17th century Spanish colonization. When did your ancestors arrive, “Laxmi Saranavan?”
Replying to @SaraGonzalesTX
Choose your fighter, Texas” — from someone who wasn’t even born here. The confidence is impressive. 😂 Maybe focus on Texas issues instead of playing immigration referee.

My sense is that there is a lot of truth to this. And eventually people will realize it’s not racist or bad to want to live in country that is composed of a majority of citizens of that country who are mostly assimilated and speak the same language and share a common culture.
If you’re not from DFW, I don’t think you have an idea how significant the immigration issue is here. I don’t mean the mass of the problem, but rather how personal and widespread the frustration is among the residents regardless of political affiliations. Even before my post, it’s been the topic at almost every dinner or party. If you’re from here and anything less than the upper class, you have a deep resentment for the companies and politicians ushering in foreigners at the expense of your home. We’ve watched some of the most liberal progressive people we know pull their kids out of public schools because they’re the only Americans left in their class. I don’t know how these people will vote, but they are facing the reality of their progressivism. A lot of these people are uncomfortable having the discussion in public given it touches a raw part regarding race. I get the sensitivity and there is a sense in which that’s right. But if our politicians want the support of the people of Texas, they’re going to have to recognize that however silent, there is a significant majority that feel disenfranchise, betrayed and a level of despair watching their home be transferred to newcomers. These are not hateful, mean or racist people. They simply want to give their kids an upbringing that resembles the one they had. They want their kids to go to schools with other English speaking Americans, meet kids at the park they can be friends with and they don’t want their kids to be minorities. This is normal and good. If Bo’s post was over the line for you then you’ve lost touch with every voter and are in for a rude awakening.

🚨 HOLY SMOKES ALITO IS FURIOUS. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito just issued a SCATHING rebuke of the Court blocking Trump's USPS mail-in ballot rules, RIPPING activist judges for imposing the time constraints rather than the underlying EO actually being illegal! "The plaintiff States cannot claim the TIMING of the rule tilts the equities in their favor when they, and courts hearing their claims, are RESPONSIBLE for so much of the delay." "Not only was the Government subject to MONTHS of premature litigation and a series of injunctions that this Court later determined were likely issued WITHOUT JURISDICTION — the Government had to wait nearly another full MONTH for this Court to issue its decision so holding." "The District Court issued a nationwide injunction based on claims asserted by several plaintiff organizations that likely lack standing." "The District Court entered several injunctions months later prohibiting the Government from undertaking that rulemaking." Alito also went into the PRECISE reasons why the mail-in rule is actually constitutional. Man, I am going to miss him when he retires!

Thomas Sowell explains why Marxism and socialist ideology played such a major role in many African coups and political upheavals. The bigger lesson is that political ideas have consequences. When leaders pursue failed economic systems and concentrate power in the state, ordinary people often pay the price. Sowell’s work is a reminder to judge ideas by their results, not just their promises.

While I have no doubt that the Democrats would substantially mishandle this, it is also likely the case that they’d get a lot of political mileage out of such efforts.

Iran is running influence operations in the United States. They just got caught because they uploaded the whole operation to Claude. Last week Anthropic published a report on the bad actors it caught using its AI. The press is treating this like another round in the AI debate. That’s the wrong story. The accounts weren’t some random hacker crew. They belonged to Iranian government agencies — the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization and the Islamic Propaganda Office. This is a state propaganda shop with a budget, a staff, and a doctrine. Their job is to mess with what Americans see every day. They were building campaign plans. Doctrine manuals. Fake persona networks. Target lists. Ministry-level planning docs for IRGC influence ops aimed at the West. Fake accounts pretending to be regular people, a list of who they go after, and a script for what those accounts say. The regime calls it “soft war.” They do the same thing at home. The report says Iranian units profiled 6,388 of their own citizens in a single year, hijacked a real activist’s account to message his contacts inside the country, and built a Firefox extension to unmask anonymous users. It gets worse. Iran-linked accounts were putting together targeting handbooks on U.S. Navy ships in the Gulf — sailors’ names pulled off public photo captions, ship transponder codes, satellite imagery scripts, research on the communications gear our ships use. And a cell in northern Yemen was using Claude to write guidance software for a ballistic missile with a range goal over 2,000 km. They test-fired a rocket. It failed. A few hours later they were back asking the AI what went wrong. All of this was sitting on an American company’s servers, in the regime’s own words, because they were too sloppy to hide it. Trump in Dallas this week: “Can Iran have a nuclear weapon? Absolutely not.” The room applauded. Read the report and tell me he’s wrong. anthropic.com/threat-intelli…

I need to make a very PUBLIC announcement on behalf of younger GenXers and older Millennials. If you see someone in their 40s or 50s who seems a little boring now, I need you to understand something... We already got it in. Like...GOT. IT. IN. We are not sitting home on a Friday night because we never knew how to have fun. We are sitting home on a Friday night because we have seen enough. We went to parties in houses that should have been condemned and were almost certainly owned by the local drug dealer. We saw police lights and RAN and not across a nice, flat field. INTO THE WOODS. Do you understand the athleticism required to hurdle uprooted tree roots in platform shoes while simultaneously trying to keep your low-rise jeans from sliding completely off your ass? And somehow...we never spilled the Zima. We never spilled the Boone’s Farm. That was TALENT. We slept on floors in strange houses because the designated driver either never showed up or, in a shocking turn of events, was drunker than everybody else. There was no Uber, Life360 or Find My Friends. There was just somebody named Mike saying, “I know a shortcut.” And we FOLLOWED MIKE. We closed down bars and then decided the night was still young, so we drove to Atlantic City, where we somehow managed to get drunk, sober up, get drunk again, sober up again and then get drunk a THIRD TIME before breakfast. And according to our parents? We were at Michelle’s house. Eating pizza and watching movies. Michelle’s mother unknowingly covered for approximately 17 people every weekend. If there even was a Michelle. We drank things called Purple Passion, Mad Dog 20/20 and whatever somebody mixed inside a giant plastic garbage can. Nobody asked what was in it. You grabbed a red Solo cup and trusted the process. We went to clubs until the lights came on. Do you know the psychological damage of seeing a nightclub with the LIGHTS ON? Nothing good happens after those lights come on. We danced for four straight hours in shoes that permanently altered the structure of our feet. We made entire plans without cell phones...no texts, dropped pins or group chats...just an extremely questionable sense of direction. We rode in cars with 11 people when the vehicle legally seated five. Someone was always sitting on someone. Someone was always in the hatchback. And there was always one friend yelling, “DUCK!” when we passed a cop. So yes...now we like being home. We like sweatpants. We like cancelling plans. We like saying, “That sounds fun!” with absolutely no intention of attending. We like restaurants at 5:30 because we can get a good table. We like being home by 8:17. And if someone texts at 9:30 PM and says, “What are you doing?” Sleeping...we are sleeping. Because this is not boring my friends...this is retirement. We already played, partied and danced on the bar. We already ran from the cops through a wooded area dressed like a Spice Girl. We have stories that cannot be posted because there are still people with careers, marriages and reputations to protect. And thank GOD there were no camera phones. So kids, when you look at your Gen X and older Millennial parents sitting peacefully on the couch watching Dateline at 8 PM and think: “God, you guys are boring.” Sweetheart...oh sweetheart. You are looking at retired legends. Put some respect on our names. We're probably the reason Life360 was invented. xoxoxo (posted from someone else on FakeBook) 🤣 #genx #oldandtired

ALERT: Scoop: American Trucking is about to change drastically and they're going to use the high cost of Diseal and the dangers of foreign truck drivers on our roads to convince you that the "government solution" is the best plan that you should accept. They plan on using electric Semi Trucks with NO DRIVERS. Automation is about to destroy American Truck Drivers and we expect the announcement right after the Midterms that as President Trump said, the cost of fuel will go way down. What he didn't say is because the Semi Trucks won't need to use Diesel because they'll all be electric Semi Trucks.

You can’t teach students about what happened on 9/11 without discussing why it happened, and you cannot solve a problem without being able to define it. Imagine trying to teach about the Cold War without discussing Communism. If we don’t learn from our past, we are bound to fall victim to these extremists again. wjla.com/news/local/virginia…
