This is awesome. Way to go Europe
European hiring rules are genuinely insane.
For example - if you own a company in the Netherlands and one of your employees gets sick, you are required to pay at least 70% of their wages for up to 2 years.
If they can't go back to work after 2 years and you haven't done enough for their reintegration, you pay their wages for 1 more year. And you can't fire them until after that extra year!
Teams are gonna be less likely to call designed qb runs if the qb is on a major deal
That is AWESOME
Jaylen Walker with1 of more remarkable performances football player can have in Lewisburg's win. He scored 6 touchdowns 4 ways in less than 2 1/2 quarters. unofficially had 7 catches for 97 yards, 3 TDs; 79-yard rushing TD, 45-yard pick 6; 76-yard kick return. My. goodness. #piaa
Barack Obama has the highest approval rating by white voters of any politician in America, by the way.

Firing James Franklin and hiring Matt Campbell is like selling your house to move into a van
Matt Campbell should be recruiting on Friday night and should probably follow the script of the coach that took Penn State to the bring of the National Title Game and won a whole lot of games here with pathetic fan support and institutional support.
There’s an even greater point here.
James Franklin was in his helicopter most Friday nights away from the team, visiting different recruits.
While Matt Campbell is present with the team the night before an important Penn State game.
You check a box in recruiting (that may or may not have been worth it). But no wonder some stuff used to look broken on game days.

I’m just gonna say it: dual credit is destroying high school with crummy off-campus versions of high school classes, for college credit of dubious value.
High schoolers should take high school classes (including AP for college credit) at high school.
What if more students could begin earning college credit while still in high school? Savvas CEO Bethlam Forsa joined @CNBC's @jonfortt to discuss dual enrollment & how earlier access to college & career pathways can expand students’ options. tinyurl.com/44zw2e7y

He's right. Mad Men is the deepest, most rewatchable, and most thought-provoking series of the 2000s. Only the wire comes close. If you think Mad Men was a Soap Opera you missed the point of the entire show.
My quibble about including Sopranos and West Wing aside,
I’ve come to believe Mad Men should be number 1 on the NYT list.
All of the top 10 are brilliant and masterfully conceived and beautifully shot and perfectly acted and so dramatic and authentic and funny when needed but Mad Men had one more thing: the burden of history. JFK, moon landing, the coke commercial, the suits, the dresses, the first time someone from the east went on a plane to go to LA - all had to stand up to a perfect memory of it. And they Beamoned it.
(Soap is a human essential and opera is high art and my ancestral pride)
Koby Howard is a great player. Vegas thinks he's worth, like, a point and a half.
🚜
Cordoza Minor put on show for Millionaires. senior d-lineman with 3 sacks, 3 tackles for loss, 10 tackles. was unblockable at times in first half. also played strong game up front along o-line as Port produced 411 yards #piaa
It's neither. It's the correlation of parents who are teaching their kids to swim are also teaching them math and reading
