Farage Is Lazy.
He can't be arsed to get a prayer card in the morning, how would he be arsed to be an actual Prime Minister for 4 years.
Nigel Farage’s story about why he didn’t attend the Budget is unravelling. Again.
It turns out that he never put in a card to reserve his seat in the first place. All cards are dated and you have to be there for Prayers at the start of business to keep your seat. It’s called a “Prayer Card”. First come first served and people queue up from before 8am on Budget Day to be allowed in the Chamber of the House of Commons.
He, but more likely a colleague, put in a card for him. (Not allowed.) And more than that, it wasn’t the current day’s date.
So the Doorkeepers who mind the Chamber and check the cards removed it. It wasn’t valid.
So his story that another MP removed it and he didn’t want to get into an argument is wrong.
He just couldn’t be arsed to put it in for himself.
Number 4 is HUGE.
As a self-employed new dad, I got absolutely NOTHING and it was brutal.
Everyday fix is downplaying it, I'm so happy about this.
🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham has announced five "everyday fixes" ahead of the Budget
1. Carer's Allowance will be changed so carers no longer lose their entire benefit when they earn over the limit - instead, their support will reduce by £1 for every extra £1 they earn
2. Import tariffs will be removed on more than 100 products, including baked beans, chocolate and gherkins, to save households up to £21 on their food shop a year
3. Tax-free mileage rates for workers using their own cars will be made permanent at 55p per mile for the first 10,000 miles, with the rate for additional miles rising from 25p to 35p
4. Parental pay will be extended to over 150,000 more parents a year, including self-employed fathers and partners
5. Hundreds more Post Office drop boxes will be rolled out to save people queueing at branches

Five years ago today, Sir David Amess was killed while serving the people of Southend West.
I knew David as a kind, tireless colleague who dedicated his life to public service. His death was a terrible reminder of the risks faced by those in public life, and of our responsibility to ensure that everyone can serve their communities without fear.
Today, we remember David’s extraordinary commitment to the people he represented, and the lasting loss felt by his family, friends and all who knew him.
Have all tories lost their minds and repeating Trump attack lines? Even their lord and saviour Jacob Rees Mogg admitted it was a failed attempt at gerrymandering, that just stopped OAPs from voting..
I'd be utterly horrified if I was a #GreenParty member today. Actively pushing for a 1-state-solution, is just, mind bogglingly stupid. Good on Caroline Lucas for calling it out.

We're proud of the lifesaving work our volunteers do in the Channel – we make no apology for it. Those we rescue are vulnerable people in danger & distress. Each of them is someone’s father, mother, son or daughter - every life is precious. This is why we launch:
Big shoutout to @DiceFM for just being a fantastic, easy, and seamless way to buy gig tickets - every single time. You're the absolute GOATs. Wish 'other' bigger companies would take note #TheHayleyWilliamsShow
Holy sh, the Channel 4 doc on #Reform donations is absolutely incredible, got them utterly bang-to-rights. #ByeByeFarrage
This isn't about "being okay to be gay", it's about kicking out the T.
Although taking a picture with two baronesses that signed the original section 28 is a brave shout for a supposed pro-gay group.
Gay people from across the UK went to Westminster yesterday to tell their MPs why Conversion Practices legislation makes it harder to say It's OK To Be Gay. Thanks to all the MPs who engaged with us and to @Fox_Claire, @Baroness_Nichol and @Rebecca_SPaul for supporting our campaign.
Here's a brilliant video showing how bad Andy Burnham is at #PMQs
We should all laugh and shake our heads, we've got this to look forward to for the next few years.
