Nine out of 10 of the nation’s most destructive forest fires happened in the 25 years since the Roadless Rule eliminated access to nearly 60 million acres of Forest Service land.

The Roadless Rule has devastated America’s forests, watersheds, and rural communities forced to live with the consequences of bad decisions from D.C.

Harriet is spot on we need logging and clearing of forests and they replant and it’s more beautiful than before. Beats a forest fire.

Spot on! No caterpillars cutting fire breaks into hillsides and cutting roads for equipment to get in there during a fire....before fire season starts. Stupidest most costly rule ever!

Absolutely, along with logging bans which cause overgrowth which in turn promotes wood and pest damage, our forests are in the worst shape I can remember.

Harriet, you list the disadvantage of a particular rule that was adopted. Now then, what could be the advantages? None at all -- people just adopted a harmful rule for the hell of it? Your goal is to compare disadvantage to advantage, and showing how one outweighs the other.

If you need proof, try to get into the forest between North Idaho and Montana. The few roads that exist are terrible and many are blocked off so even an ATV can't get through. Fire equipment has no chance.

We Have issues with BLM too in Nevada. The solar Gods along with acquiescence by politicians , @JoeLombardoNV, @RepHorsford have done zero to halt encroachment right up to a mile from Housing with 10s of thousand of acres rolling right along with BLM.

Destructive archetecture (which always produces destructive avenues) takes decades to develop. For decades, our Country has been compromised by the traitors in Washington D.C., CIA & Corporate beasts. America is waking up but there are so many numb skulls flapping around. 🙄👎
