Sorry man but 1. He IS currently the president and 2. You guys looked at him the first time and said “yes more of that” so please spare me the “I can’t believe you keep mentioning that guy we keep nominating”
Replying to @mrklarth
You guys will spend the next decade saying "whatabout Trump" to defend everything.

I think this view will be quite widespread among America's disillusioned allies in Canada and Europe, even if Trump's political support evaporates.
Although people all over the world are happy to see Trump and MAGA becoming unpopular in the USA, the reason behind it is far less encouraging.
Trump could support Putin and Russia all he wanted. He could continue to let Ukrainians get slaughtered, treat Canada like shit, threaten Denmark with war, steal from Venezuela to line his own pockets, support Israel's brutality, and insult allies day after day. The American public doesn't support these things, but they don't seem to care very much about them either.
The only reason people are now turning against Trump is because — of all unimportant things — gas has become a little bit more expensive in in a country wealthier than any other in world history. THAT is what infuriates the average voter and makes them turn against Trump
The rest of the world is lucky that this is happening, as it weakens Trump. But that doesn't mean we should assume that the USA will act morally on the world stage in the future. Deep down, they simply don't care very much.
This is right. Alpha males don’t forge destiny through consensus. Voting is a relic of the woke establishment meant to feminize strong men. Skipping a gym day to vote is weak!

Important days lie ahead: making the secret police files and private equity funds public, introducing a wealth tax on billionaires, deciding on the appointment of the new Prosecutor General, establishing 24 December as a public holiday, and debating the 2027 budget.
Back in Parliament today from 1 PM.

My guess: the most influential Michigan Dem names when it comes to determining turnout & ticket loyalty are probably Whitmer and Slotkin, not Stevens or El-Sayed.

Democrats should really consider getting on board with self-driving cars, I don't think the alliance with the Teamsters is paying large dividends.
Teamsters General President Sean O’Brien here. Just voted in the State of Florida for the first time, and very proud to have cast a ballot for @SenAshleyMoody. Sen. Moody has been extremely helpful working with the Teamsters to protect workers’ pensions, defend good-paying jobs, and support well-funded union apprenticeship programs. The Teamsters look forward to working with Sen. Moody in her role on the Senate HELP Committee to pass the Faster Labor Contracts Act and get this critical legislation signed into law to protect American workers.

Learned about phrase yolo on NPR. It is what all the "kids" are saying. "You only live once." Better take that to heart as I am getting old.

Mallory McMorrow, quoted by The Washington Post
“Michigan could very well be the state that flips control of the Senate. …That’s what’s on the line. Nothing less. And Michiganders know it.”
“Cut the shit. Lock in. Knock doors. Get out the vote. That’s it.”

Quirk of 2026: the high number of GOP insiders who privately wish they could hold the Senate majority while Paxton/Marshall lose (but Hinson/Rogers/Collins win), and a few Dems hoping the Senate flips while El-Sayed loses. Neither scenario all that likely.
Instead of receiving candy, kids trick or treating at the WH handed these out to the president who they thought was the Lorax.
A reminder to those losing sleep over people like Manchin and guys like this who are drain swirling on the wrong side of history-the Democrats have a Republican sitting Senator endorsing for governor of her own state, a Democrat. Vote.

Just talked to voters at an early voting center in Detroit. No one I spoke to had any knowledge of what Rep. Haley Stevens and her fiancé are saying.

It’s just crazy how literally nothing can break the perception that republicans are fiscally conservative. It does not matter that republicans have exploded the debt and deficit every time for the last 50 years, people still insist they’re fiscally conservative
