Lesufi looks quite hip with a man bun! 😂🤣
Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi says they are holding weekly meetings with municipalities and the Minister of Water and Sanitation to find permanent solutions for the ongoing water crisis. Tune in to #eNCA, on #DStv403.

Australia A vs Australia B ? 🤔😆😅
Say what you like about the Rugby League World Cup, at least the top two-ranked teams are able to meet in the final. Take note World Rugby.

More absolute socially and politically insensitive rubbish from the ANC "potholiticians."
Together, we can keep building a South Africa we’d all imagined. From our streets and homes to our businesses and services, we’ve made progress in safety and access, and we’re committed to maintaining that momentum. Let’s continue building better communities, together. Vote ANC.

Congratulations to Casandra Alexander who carded a final round 64 to win the Wistron Ladies Open in Taiwan by 3 strokes; her 3rd title of the year to clinch top spot in the LET Tour's Order of Merit. She can arguably lay claim to the title "SA's Leading Golfer."

The worst potholes we have in our country are the political potholes!
At least it's not Jan Van Riebeeck fault this time. #ClimateChange you bady. @MYANC

Surely this can't be right? An Uber ride I regularly make, 3.3 kms, yesterday cost R250?! instead of the normal rate of between R60 & R70 (plus tip). A 400% increase or a rate of R75.75 a km - because of the cricket test? Pick-up and the time it took was as usual. Brazen rip-off

Shameless! "Too many of our parks and open spaces have been neglected, left overgrown and poorly lit, creating environments where crime and Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) can thrive." And who do we have to thank?
This morning, I joined Minister in The Presidency, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, in Kliptown for the Love Your Street service delivery programme, alongside senior government officials, NGOs, civil society organisations and local residents. Too many of our parks and open spaces have been neglected, left overgrown and poorly lit, creating environments where crime and Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) can thrive. Through this programme, we are reclaiming these spaces by cleaning up public areas and planting trees outside Kliptown Court to help create safer, cleaner and more welcoming environments for our communities. We are also raising awareness about how to report abuse and access support services. The trees planted form part of the Presidential 1 Billion Trees Campaign, contributing to a greener, more sustainable and resilient Johannesburg.

Looking at the epidemic of injuries across the board in the URC you have to wonder whether this is as a result of the "THERE'S TOO MUCH RUGBY" some of us have warned about. Just rugby reality or are the players knackered?

Trouble is, rather than "in this race" its all about race
1. On 4 November 2026, in 10 days, JHB goes to the polls to elect its mayor. I have previously argued that Helen Zille is the only sensible candidate to vote for in this race. This would be a vote for the DA. The importance of this vote was underscored on a recent visit to JHB.

Utterly pathetic, infantile and embarrassing.
According to Zibi, because Helen Zille's full name is Otta Helene Zille, this disqualifies her from running as a candidate. Even the crowd he is speaking to, his own supporters, are bored by this. Folks are yawning. Undoubtedly one of the most pathetic political displays I have seen. For the record, Rise Mzansi has no candidate in Tshwane to be Mayor. Out of 4 million people they couldn't find someone. The person they had, they fired, and then carried on putting her posters up. Weak. Weak. Weak.

If the Stormers want to be The Men in Black, expropriating the name of that team in NZ, they should watch the All Blacks vs OZ - to perhaps learn that quick-fire rugby depends on accurate, secure passes, the ball nicely presented, and receivers who don’t drop it. Sê maar net

Eish! Aussies really handing it to us at the moment!
Austin Bautista wins for the second time this season, this time at the Fortress Invitational. 👏🏆 Well done to him and to all our partners for another successful event, can’t thank everyone enough! @Sunshine_Tour @Fortress_Fund #TheFortressInvitational #GreatnessBeginsHere

You've got his face and his number plate. Report him to the police. Then again... good luck with that
National importance 💔🇿🇦‼️ THIS IS WHAT WE AS WOMEN HAVE TO BE SUBJECTED TO!!! All because i didn't want to give him show and allow him to pass me Tries to knock me, drives infront of me like a maniac and then dead breaks multiple times while my 1 year old baby was in the car with me I then made the decision to drive much slower behind him, obviously he saw that im a woman alone he then stops on the bridge to wait for me not caring about all the other cars behind me aswell, causes traffic to threaten to kill me with my 1 year old baby in the car. I had to make a split second decision on whether to take a video or whether to call my husband and I unfortunately knew that my husband wouldn't make it quick enough to me and I had to take a video for safety instead, can you imagine a decision of a video as safety over a phonecall to a loved one. THIS HAS BECOME OUR LIVES Question is do these type of men do this when there is another man present? And we then make the time to go to the police station to open up cases and then what actually comes from it? I stay only 1,3km from the coffee shop l was driving home from, can you imagine such a short distance from home for mine and my babys life to be in danger! WE AS WOMEN ARE TIRED OF NOT FEELING SAFE ENOUGH TO SIMPLY JUST LIVE! @SAPoliceService @AthlendaM @SA_Taxis

And remember to bend low and lead with your head when going into a tackle!
World Rugby, 2026 New Laws: Don’t tackle high (head contact = card). Also don’t drop a knee to get low before the tackle (now explicitly a penalty under the “knee drop” guideline). Stay perfectly on your feet and hit the shrinking legal stripe between the sternum and the thighs, every time, at full speed, against a ball-carrier who can dip or jump. Player welfare, apparently, now requires defenders to levitate into the exact legal centimetre. Miss high and you’re reckless. Miss low with a knee down and you’re off your feet. The sport that used to be about physical contests is quietly turning the tackle into a precision exam with red cards at both ends of the scale.

How come the Sharks jersey does not have a Shark on it?
THE STREETS WON’T FORGET 🥹 Your Sharks legend of the day: Keegan Daniel 🦈👏 A one-club Shark, a Springbok, a captain and one of the fiercest competitors to pull on the black and white. 🫡 273 appearances. Three Currie Cup titles. And a whole lot of heart. But that 2013 Currie Cup final at Newlands? That’s Keegan Daniel 🏆🦈 Forever a Shark 👏 #SharksRugbyClub #BlackWhiteForever #CraigJamieson

As I've said before, ever since the obsession with head contact everyone "leads with the head" - they even practice it. (Not just the Sharks, all teams)

Setting an example for the uncouth American crowds - remember the Ryder Cup behaviour
Admirable and classy. Maximum respect.
