I watched the witching hour pass, whilst contemplating words. It was the solo furtherance of a daylight conversation. Now, with an hour well gone, still I sit. There's something to them, it's there? Words? Power... but not just in their meaning or intent; in the way they move together. When wielded with precision, the subject matters very little. They come upon you, unsuspected, weaving themselves together into the lightest silk; becoming something tangible, lightly brushing your skin as they flow around you. When done, not only with precision, but purpose, that fine silk becomes something more; a fingernail, lightly trailing down the spine. Your skin reacts as you respond,... involuntarily, wanting to lean in to the linguistic phantom now teasing you. Your breath catches...
But remember, these are merely words... but they taste devine.
