Too many products might seem overwhelming right now but long term its net positive
All those products are bringing in new people to Riftbound
T1 collection and Worlds boxes bring in Esports fans
K/DA brings in kpop and k/da fans
Prizewall/BestOf bring in competitive players
Project K attracts collectors/investors
The rest satisfy League players (70% of champs still dont have a decent rare card
None of these are slop, its all high end thought out products. Only thing Id change is adding booster packs into every box to take them 1 step deeper into #Riftbound
With so many options, of course there will be winners and losers which makes speculating fun
Collector take: Riftbound is putting out so much “limited” product that limited is becoming ordinary.
T1/KDA sets, Best Ofs, Prizewalls, Nexus Nights, ON Signatures, Judge Promos, Worlds boxes, and more…. Saturation is effectively making limited very common.
When there are far too many options in a TCG barely 2 years old, it tends to push collectors away or pause buying due to being overwhelmed. I think that is why you are starting to see fatigue in the Riftbound market.
Too many options overwhelm collectors and create buying pauses. Just ask Costco… there is a reason why they limit consumers to just one or two brand options.
It has barely been a year since Origins launch and look how packed that chart is.
Player take: No issues. The TCG is doing great and growing.

Why did this BGS 10 sell for 2x PSA 10 price?
There is a big difference between BGS 10 with 9.5 edges vs 9.5 centering
Centering is the most crucial subgrade. If its OC, every grader will give it the same grade. With edges/corners its up for debate.
These BGS 10s can then be sent back to Beckett to try getting a Black Label via GCR
Dont pay big premium on 9.5 centering, its also the most common 9.5 subgrade, ive sent 18 slabs to Beckett so far and 17 had 9.5 centering subgrade
