This woman is one of the brave members of my #WhiteWednesdays campaign against compulsory hijab.
She sent me this photo of her scarred back after being punished with 74 lashes for the “crime” of showing her hair.
Holding a Woman, Life, Freedom slogan, she refused to be silenced. Here is her testimony:
“The morality police arrested me for resisting their van. My ‘crime’ was unveiling. After months of court hearings, I was sentenced to 74 lashes. The cleric overseeing the punishment stood there to ensure it was carried out.
I won’t give up my fight against this brutal regime, but we are fed up with living as prisoners in our own homeland.”
Seventy-four lashes. For showing her hair. In the 21st century.

OCTOBER 7, 2023: SHE KNEW SHE WAS GOING TO DIE.
Libi Cohen-Meguri, a 22-year-old infantry officer, went to the Nova music festival.
She was shot while fleeing the party. At 8:11 a.m., she called her parents and said:
“I’ve been shot in the stomach, I’ve been shot in the arm, I’m losing blood. I’m going to die.”
Calmly, quietly, she understood; these were the last minutes of her life.
She asked her parents to call Tomer, her twin brother, and Maya, her little sister, and said:
“I’m going to die. I just want you to listen to me.
I love you, Yariv. You’re the best father I could have asked for.
Mom, stop screaming. Just listen to me. You are the best mother we could have ever had. Don’t forget to be a good mother to Tomer and Maya after I die.
Tomer, how lucky we were to live this life together. I love you.
My Maya, never forget—you are the treasure of my life.”
When she finished speaking, her parents told her to get out of the car, lie down on the road, and pretend to be dead.
With her last bit of strength, she got out of the car and laid down on the road.
“Mom, they’re coming to shoot me again,” Libi said after lying down.
While her mother listened on the phone, shouts in Arabic could be heard, and then a barrage of gunfire.
It didn’t stop.
It kept going, until the call was disconnected.
And that’s how Libi died—with demonic beasts from the pit of hell standing over her and emptying a full magazine into her body.
Libi died with LOVE on her lips: love for life, love for her family, and love for her people.
Her memory will forever be a blessing.

Trump was talking about gas prices. Here’s the full quote that the fake news won’t give you:
“gas prices are artificial and it’s a small price to pay, let them take out Los Angeles, let them take out San Diego”
Meaning that Iran posed a risk to the West Coast of the U.S., and if they target those cities gas prices would be the least of our concern. Everyone knows that’s what he meant. This is just another desperate attempt to smear the president. Fight the fake news with facts!

Gas went over $4 a gallon for the first time in July of 2008.
Oil was around $140 a barrel, eventually going up to $148 in July of 2008.
Today, gas was 4.47 a gallon.

The reason so many young people have moved Left is because of the failure to get our K-12 schools under control and the radical teachers' unions who brainwash the kids; because of the failure to get our colleges under control and allowed them to be populated with tenured Marxist-Islamist faculties and DEI personnel; because of massive legal and illegal immigration from the third world and a lack of vetting and assimilation; and because of the massively increased role of government in every aspect of our economy creating all kinds of disincentives and financial dislocation. So now, for some, it appears their response and their answer is: listen to the kids and accommodate their demands. Yet just 2-years ago, Trump won a landslide election and held both Houses of Congress. But listen to the kids.
This is a tough election cycle, and it always was going to be a tough election cycle. For starters, we know the history of off-year elections for incumbent presidents. Obama got his butt kicked in 2010 by the Tea Party. I was an integral part of it. But they doubled down and now look at the Democrat Party, DSA, infiltration of the Marxists-Islamists. They never abandoned their radical ideology but hit the gas pedal. There are certainly things we can do better, no question about that. I've a list of them, including the lack of a decisive victory in Iran rather than early on tapping the brakes and seeking a premature deal. So be it. There's precious little time left. Rather than starting post-election doomer finger-pointing and positioning oneself as if a sage when seeing the obvious, 6-weeks before the actual election, how about we put our minds, and resources, and efforts toward fighting as hard as we can given all that is at stake. You can be concerned and say-so but stop dispiriting voters before they vote. You could be creating a self-fulfilling outcome. Shove the predictions. Let's get going!
