Mbarara, what a beautiful expression of love and generosity!
God stirred our hearts, and we responded together. As we reflect on His faithfulness and the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the generosity that has paved the way for us.
Thank you for showing up, giving joyfully and keeping the spirit of generosity alive.

A cell family is a community of people who do life together, supporting and encouraging one another through every season.
Phiona shares how her cell family stood by her through one of the most difficult seasons of her life:
"I first learned about Watoto Church Nansana-Wakiso in late 2024 through the teardrops along the road. However, it was in 2025, when I was pregnant and unable to move around much because of my high-risk condition, that I began attending regularly. My previous church was far from home, and I longed to fellowship closer to my family.
At the time, my husband was away for work, I was frequently unwell, and our marriage was going through a difficult season. Things became so strained that my husband decided to leave me and the children. It was a devastating time, especially as I was pregnant and caring for a toddler.
A neighbour invited me to a nearby cell gathering, where I was warmly welcomed. When I eventually opened up about what I was going through, my cell family surrounded me with prayer, love and practical support. One member became a close friend, offering me emotional and even financial support when I needed it most.
I am especially grateful to our cell leader, who regularly checked on me together with his wife and took me to hospital in his car without asking for anything in returnβnot even fuel. During my delivery and after, members continued to visit and stand with me. They became the family I needed when I was most vulnerable.
At the beginning of this year, my husband returned home, and I give God all the glory for restoring our marriage. Today, we attend cell together and have joined a married couplesβ cell.
Through this journey, I have experienced the power of cell family and how God uses people to carry us through difficult seasons. I am now attending Equip Streams, interning as a cell leader and serving in Childrenβs Church."
