Three Russian shadow fleet tanker loaded with Russian diesel have altered course and won't be shipping to the US coast. The "Agioi Fenandes" (IMO: 9798375) and "Talisman" (IMO: 9292060) switched their destination to "For Orders", meaning that they are actively looking for buyers. The "Leruo" (MO: 9385831) has set course for Brazil, while also looking for buyers. Source is "Marinetraffic". It looks like that the Trump-Putin scheme has fallen apart the moment the midterms were lost for Trump. What a surprise..

Ten Commitments That Could Truly Transform Israelโ€™s Relationship with America Excellent tweet, But if you genuinely want to repair Israelโ€™s standing in the United States, What Israel needs is not a better public relations campaign. It needs a fundamental change in policy. Here are ten commitments I would encourage you to make publicly that will really make a change in DC: A. Israel cannot and should not permanently occupy another people. The occupation is not a sustainable national strategy. It undermines Israelโ€™s democratic character, its international legitimacy, and ultimately its own security. B. I extend my hand in peace to the Palestinian people. I recognize their right to self-determination and am prepared to engage in serious negotiations toward a political settlement that guarantees security, dignity, and a better future for both peoples. C. I will not pressure the Trump administration into launching another costly and ultimately unsuccessful military campaign against Iran. After two rounds of fighting that failed to achieve their central strategic objectives, it is time to rethink our approach. Preventing a nuclear-armed Iran must remain a priority, but another war without a realistic political endgame is not a strategy. D. Arab citizens of Israel are equal citizens, with equal rights and an equal stake in the country's future. I will not hesitate to work with their elected representatives in the Knesset, and I am prepared to consider including Arab parties in a governing coalition if we can agree on a common political agenda. E. My vision is an Israel defined by prosperity, security, and peace, not endless territorial expansion and permanent conflict. Israel will not permanently occupy Gaza or annex the West Bank. I will work closely with President Trump to fully implement his peace plan in a manner that benefits Israelis, Palestinians, and the broader international community. F. Israel has no ambition to determine who governs Lebanon or to occupy Lebanese territory. Once Israel's legitimate security requirements are met, we will withdraw to an internationally recognized, secure border and work toward a sustainable security arrangement. G. The same principle applies to Syria. Israel has no territorial ambitions in Syria and no desire to dictate who governs Damascus. Our objective is a secure border, enforceable security arrangements, and long-term regional stability. H. I will make rebuilding Israel's relationships with Egypt and Jordan a strategic priority. These peace treaties are among Israel's greatest diplomatic achievements. Let me be absolutely clear: neither Jordan nor Egypt is an alternative homeland for the Palestinian people. Israel will not support forced displacement or policies designed to transfer Palestinians into either country. I. Israel should aspire to a relationship with the United States that is increasingly based on mutual investment, innovation, and shared strategic interests rather than dependence on American taxpayer assistance. I will propose a joint US-Israel investment fund to advance major initiatives in artificial intelligence, advanced technology, energy, and scientific research, generating tangible benefits for both societies. J. I will deliver precisely the same message to European leaders. Israel wants to rebuild trust with its European partners through responsible policies, respect for international law, renewed diplomatic engagement, and a genuine commitment to peace. + Israel will fight terrorism in all its forms, without exception or double standards, including Jewish terrorism and violence against innocent Palestinians. Terrorism is terrorism, regardless of who commits it. No individual or group will be above the law, and those responsible will be held accountable. The rule of law must apply equally to everyone.. The bottom line: If you want to restore bipartisan support for Israel in Washington, rebuild trust with younger Americans, and reverse Israel's deteriorating international standing, you must first confront the policies that helped create this crisis. The problem is not that Israeli politicians are failing to explain themselves effectively in English. The problem is what they are defending. You cannot continue supporting permanent occupation, settlement expansion, endless wars, and the political exclusion of Arab citizens while expecting American public opinion to move in your favor. Israel does not need a better salesman in Washington. It needs a different policy in Jerusalem. #israel #us
To all our friends in the United States and around the world: The Israeli people have voted for change and to replace the current government. Our democracy remains strong and vibrant. We are working to fulfill the will of the Israeli people by forming a new government as soon as possible - a national emergency government. I intend to bring new leadership to Israel, leadership that serves all Israelis. Together with my partners, we will build a stronger Israel: A Jewish and democratic Israel. An Israel that is committed to liberal values, equality for all and is confident in its future. The bond between Israel and the United States is more than an alliance between governments. It is a partnership between peoples, built over generations, sustained by shared democratic values, and strengthened by the conviction that our nations are more secure and more prosperous when we stand together. Under my leadership, we will renew and deepen that partnership, strengthen the bipartisan foundations that have long sustained it, and work with our allies to advance a Middle East defined not simply by the absence of conflict, but by the presence of opportunity and cooperation. Israel will remain one of Americaโ€™s most reliable and capable strategic partners in the Middle East, a partnership that is mutually beneficial for both peoples, in every aspect. I look forward to working closely and constructively with President Trump and his administration, whose friendship and commitment to Israel we deeply value. Together, we can advance our shared security interests, strengthen regional stability, and open new doors to prosperity for the peoples of the Middle East. That is the Israel I believe in. And that is the future we intend to build.

I know @HaleyforMI way better than most people on X. She and I came into Congress together in 2018. She was co-Prez of our freshman class. She was incredibly kind to me when my late partner died; she organized a big group of our class to come to the House floor to support me when I spoke about his suicide. We were roommates in 2023, after my wonderful first roomie lost her election; both my adult kids know Haley well and are on a texting basis with her. Weโ€™ve socialized and we have good friends in common. While she and I differ on one impt issue, specifically Israel and AIPAC support, Iโ€™ve never publicly challenged her on those things, because I felt that her good points outweighed the issues I disagreed with her on. Today, that changes. ๐Ÿ‘‡ Haleyโ€™s endorsement of Rogers in the MI senate race is appalling. Not because heโ€™s a Republican, but because what he stands for is what she, and I, and our caucus has fought so hard against. Rogers is a 100% anti-choice politician. He is a Trump loyalist. Heโ€™s shown his Islamophobia in his many remarks against @AbdulElSayed, and with this endorsement, Haley has shown that she agrees with his positions. Iโ€™m shocked by Haleyโ€™s endorsement. Iโ€™m terribly sad and disappointed. Iโ€™m furious and will be more so if we lose the MI senate race. So many people in the Democratic Party have shown so much support to Haley over the years, and she has betrayed them all. If this is because of her new relationship (about which many of us were so happy for her after she lost the primary), all I can say is that any woman who abandons her friends when a new guy comes along is no friend at all. The fallout for Haley wonโ€™t just be in Dem politics; she will be a pariah among her friends in the Democratic caucus in Congress. Only she will be able to decide whether it was worth it.

No, @elonmusk, the U.S. stopped funding Ukraine last year. In fact, U.S. companies make money on American weapons for which we Europeans pay. The more you meddle in our politics and the more you play politics with your products, the more you damage your brand.

And some of that US taxpayer money comes back through multiple laundry machines to fund political campaigns in America, which is why you see some politicians caring more about Ukraine than America!

We donโ€™t use Starlink for our responses inside Russia. We use Starlink to intercept jet-powered โ€œshahedsโ€ that attack our civilians and kill families. Starlink wasnโ€™t turned off โ€“ its speed was reduced. And when the speed was reduced, we were unable to intercept a certain number of jet-powered โ€œshaheds.โ€ We couldnโ€™t use a tool that helps protect people. Thatโ€™s very painful and frustrating. We also use Starlink for mid-range strikes against enemy military targets in our temporarily occupied territories. We couldnโ€™t do that when the restrictions were in place. And third, what matters most is people. Our warriors, who spend weeks and months on the front line, receive food and water delivered by drones using Starlink. Has the speed been fully restored to what it was before? No. Is it being restored now? Yes. From a conversation with media representatives in Brussels. (2/3)
