Pick and preview for tonight’s clash between the top 2 Jr lights in the game. I think the style clash and location could mean controversy by nights end. Live and free on The Corner Stool.

Why the hell would the heavyweight king move DOWN a weight class for anything? We live in the stupidest boxing timeline.

History will never forget the name Captain Picard.
Thank you for inspiring the Next Generation of explorers. ✨
ALT Two interacting galaxies against the black of space. Together, they fill most of the right side of the image. They have a rounded center shape, with two extended arms. The arms both extend back, shaped roughly like the starship Enterprise. A third smaller galaxy spirals to its left.

“There’s no one on this planet that I have acted with or directed more often than my late great friend Patrick Stewart. He will be with me forever. May he rest in Peace.”

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.
Really happy we got to see the third season of Picard and a proper send off there. Picard, Scrooge, MacBeth, Xavier. Patrick Stewart just crushed it. Life well lived.
Mead’s book covered this well forty years ago. Louis was being warned about his taxes BEFORE the war and lots of famous people donated to the war effort and still paid their taxes.
There really is no excuse for a writer in 2026 to continue to get the facts of Joe Louis' tax history and other matters of his life wrong. It's an idiotic game of telephone by people who won't put in any research effort. sports.yahoo.com/boxing/arti… via @YahooSports
Loma’s record at 135 was 8-2 with 4KOs and both Ls there were ultimately highly competitive. The idea he was too small for 35 is trash. Was he better at 130? Maybe but his opposition was also just pretty good there. It’s ok to have a hell of a run short of myth.
Hey Smokin Joe, you won the biggest fight ever in arguably the best fight ever and they’ll make books and movies about it 60 years from now but darn it I can’t vote for you because you didn’t get that Terry Daniels fight in on time?
🤣
The idea anyone would need a set number of fights to be the fighter of a given year is silly thinking. Most guys win it for a particular fight anyways even with more activity. Like Holyfield wouldn’t have been FOTY 96 without Czyz?
Incorrect. It’s happened other times. Tunney, Schmeling, Sharkey, Ingo, Patterson, Frazier in 71…all won on single fight campaigns. Hagler shared his Ring award with Curry in 85 (was BWAA solo)
Foster learned how to fight the old fashioned way. Took some early L’s, honed his craft, and when the moment arrived he was ready.
