Voting my conscience (for a 3rd party or not voting at all) isn’t wasting my vote.
Voting against my principles just to help YOUR preferred team win? That’s a wasted vote.

A limited amount of time in office can change how you approach the job. Instead of thinking about the next election, what if more attention went toward making the most of each term?

Despite record levels of revenue and a slew of tax increases on the November ballot, a #California mileage tax is under consideration.

Californians were supposed to get a completed high-speed rail system by 2020 for $33 billion.
We're 6 years past deadline. We have 0 trains, 0 tracks, and a new price tag of $230 billion.
Meanwhile, your tax dollars are funding tiki bars, luxury travel, and escape rooms for consultants. This madness needs to end.

Kennedy decided to play it safe and allow mRNA shots to stay on the market. Odds are he’ll be out soon anyway with nothing to show for it but an upside down food pyramid.

1,160 voters are registered at a downtown LA homeless shelter, and Election ballots were left out in the open.
The discovery comes four months after the California Post exposed 7,600 voter registrations linked to homeless shelters and service providers across Los Angeles, including facilities that don’t offer a single bed.

California families don’t have to settle for failing schools that can’t teach our kids how to read, write or do math. We’ve proven at the local level that our children can excel once again with the right plan in place.
Send me to Sacramento and I’ll bring that blueprint statewide. Let’s work together to fix our schools and protect our kids.

Nobody actually believes socialism works. They just know free handouts are available.

“I am not challenging the mandate because I support it. If it is my job to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the residents of this state, then I think everyone ought to get vaccinated unless they have a medical reason that prevents them from doing so.”
Dana Michelle Nessel holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan (1990) and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School (1994). She is a former assistant prosecutor in Wayne County for eleven years, private civil-rights and criminal-defense attorney, and Attorney General of Michigan since January 2019. No M.D., no epidemiology, no immunology, no public-health degree, no clinic. The credential for declaring that everyone medically eligible ought to get the shot, and for offering herself as a dunk-tank prize for those who do, is a law degree and the attorney general’s office.
In June 2021 she sat in a dunk tank at a Genesee County expungement fair in Flint. Vaccines were available on site; she tweeted that getting vaccinated earned the right to dunk the AG. In December 2021 she said she would support President Biden’s OSHA vaccine-or-test mandate for large employers before the Supreme Court, that she was not challenging it because she supported it, and that if her job was to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the state then everyone ought to get vaccinated unless a medical reason prevented them. She said she did not think the United States would have had Delta or Omicron if more people had gotten vaccinated when the shots were available. She called the attorneys general who were challenging the mandate “irresponsible and reckless.” The platform was the attorney general’s office and a county fair.
She offered a carnival dunk as the incentive, then told the state that the fastest track to normalcy was immediate vaccination for everyone medically eligible, and that the variants themselves were the result of too few people taking the shot. The product did not stop infection or transmission. She is still Attorney General. The workers who faced the large-employer rule she said she would defend in court, and the residents who dunked her after rolling up a sleeve, did not get a correction when the welfare she assigned to the needle failed the one job she assigned it.
She said her job was to ensure the welfare. Then the welfare kept getting infected, and the support for mandates crippled public trust.

“Tyson’s Lexington, Nebraska plant closed earlier this year.”
“Its Joslin, Illinois plant is closed.”
“Tyson has also reduced Amarillo to one shift.”
“And announced plans to sell its Pasco, Washington plant.”
“Regional cattle buyers have disappeared.”
“Workers have lost jobs.”
“Cattle producers are dealing with the loss of nearby markets.”
R-CALF USA CEO Bill Bullard is sounding the alarm.
“These are real withdrawals from cattle country.”
He warns “the damage is well underway.”
And he’s calling for immediate action from Washington.
We have long advocated for policies that rebuild the domestic cattle herd in order to lower beef prices and strengthen national food security.
But that objective is at risk of suffering a massive setback with these plant closures.
Bullard: “Producers are carrying these costs right now while the packers quietly reorganize their businesses.”
“Independent operations… face greater pressure to shrink or to exit the industry.”
“Investigators must look at both conduct within individual companies and possible agreements among competitors.”
“Producer plaintiffs have alleged coordinated restrictions on cattle purchases and slaughter in antitrust litigation.”
“Those allegations… provide a concrete reason to examine communications and purchasing decisions rather than accept corporate explanations without testing them.”
“The Packers and Stockyards Act addresses unfair practices, unreasonable disadvantages, price manipulation, and prohibited agreements.”
“Antitrust laws provide additional tools.”
“Independent cattle producers need action right now.”
