I’m profoundly humbled to share that I’ve been named to TIME100 Health, recognizing the 100 most influential people shaping global health in 2026. @TIME
When we started Mobilize Recovery, our goal was clear. We set out to give a voice to those who have been left behind by a system that ignored them, to end the overdose crisis, and to take on the billionaires who profited off our pain.
This recognition by TIME isn’t just a personal milestone. It’s a massive spotlight on our entire movement and the advocates doing the hard work on the ground every single day.
To be included alongside such an extraordinary group of global health leaders is surreal, but this recognition truly belongs to all of us.
Thank you to TIME, my incredible team, and everyone who has supported this mission. We won’t stop until every voice is heard, every person is valued and supported, and no more lives are lost to this preventable crisis. Let's keep fighting.
With love, R.

Recovery is not a straight line. A setback is data, not a verdict. What matters is the attempt after the fall.

In Nevada, there are three candidates running for governor. One, Danielle Ford, is running w/o a party affiliation. Ford happens to share the last name of the Democrat on the ticket, Aaron Ford.
Different from Alaska, in that it's not the first name that's shared, too.
However...
Danielle Ford is being boosted by a mysterious PAC. That PAC has ties to Republicans. It's office is "a mailbox office rental company in the same commercial complex as" the Republican in the race: Gov. Joe Lombardo.
Is this Alaska-like? Maybe. Maybe not. A shared office space doesn't necessarily mean coordination. But it's certainly interesting.
Does it show that these shady things happen all over the place, yeah. And there's plenty more examples, too.

Happy Nevada Day! 🎉
Today, we’re celebrating the state we call home, and there’s plenty to celebrate about the Silver State.
At LVMPD, we’re proud to serve the people who make Nevada such a great place to live. Here’s to Nevada and all who call it home!

Today we observe Nevada Day! All state and local offices are closed in recognition of the Silver State joining the union on Oct. 31, 1864.
Federal offices remain open as normal, meaning there will be regular mail delivery.

Today is the last day to early vote in person! It’s also Nevada Day (observed). So get out there and cast a ballot for your state on the eve of her 162nd birthday!

Good morning from The #WeMatter State.
Today is Nevada Day (observed). This is because of 2 men named Amodei. Mark got a bill passed (1997) to create the 3-day weekend and his Uncle Pete (1939) got the holiday passed.
Days left of in-person early voting: 1
Days 'til general: 4

Clark just posted 6K mail ballots as returned. When they are accepted, Ds will gain about 1,700 more ballots over the Rs, wiping out any in-person gains in Washoe and the rurals. Ds will win in-person again in Clark, too.
I'll post on the blog later.

The early voting blog is updated.
I did some noodling over CD2 and how hard it is even in a wave for the Dems to win a seat they have never held in 40 years.
Also, three D congressional seats look baked as does Assembly supermajority. Definitely, maybe.

BREAKING: Inside Elections just moved Nevada's Governor race from Tilt Republican to TOSS UP.
Nevadans are done with a Governor who works for Donald Trump and billionaires instead of working families. They want someone who will actually lower costs, and the momentum shows it.
This race is going to be decided by who shows up. Early voting is open now! Make your plan and vote: iwillvote.com/nv

Meteorologists revise when the expected front doesn't arrive. Clark's GOP rebound has fallen short, so the Bray Model drops that boost. It also corrects a formula that projected some nonpartisan growth we'd already seen. Ford +1.42 in Nevada. Lombardo still has a narrow Election Day path.

The Nevada State AFL-CIO is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dolores Huerta, a civil rights activist and union champion who dedicated her life to fighting for working people and farmworker rights.
“President Liz Sorenson and I are only here today in our capacities as labor leaders because of the foundation Dolores Huerta created, " said Executive Secretary-Treasurer Susie Martinez. "She helped pave the way for generations of organizers, and her courage will continue to inspire us to speak up, stand together, and never stop fighting for working people. We honor her life by carrying that work forward."

That means we have one week to show up, vote, and get our friends and family to do the same. There has never been a more crucial time to make your voice heard.

Nevadans are fed up with the cost of living. From groceries and gas to housing and healthcare, hardworking families are struggling to keep up.
The Lombardo-Trump economy is squeezing Nevadan families pockets. Nevadans deserve a Governor who fights to lower their costs, not one who puts Trump’s billionaire friends first.
Thank you to @Culinary226 for speaking up and making your voices heard.
In 250 years, America has elected only three Black governors. Three, out of thousands. On Tuesday, Nevada can make it four by electing Aaron Ford, who would become the 32nd Governor of Nevada and the first Black governor in our state’s history.
I’ve known Aaron for years. He’s a dad, a former teacher, and the Attorney General who took on Big Pharma and brought that money home to Nevada families. In America’s 250th year, we get to prove we’re still capable of making history. Vote by Tuesday, November 3.

Showing up is the medicine. Healing doesn't happen alone. Voting is the same muscle. People ignored by policy: we show up. 23.5M adults in recovery. recovery happens together. When did you last vote in person?
Rest in power @DoloresHuerta. You’ve inspired and taught millions to keep organizing for our communities, and the dignity and respect of all people
Unfortunately there’s always that one person 👇🏽

ONE WEEK until Election Day, Nevada! This election will come down to just a handful of votes. Every vote matters.
Joe Lombardo said Nevadans should “feel a little pain.” But I know hardworking families shouldn’t have to suffer just to afford gas, groceries, rent, or healthcare.
