The “immigrants” this Indian congresswoman is referring to here are temporary refugees and asylees. Not only does she not know what temporary means, she also fails to mention that these “immigrants” and their children cost U.S. taxpayers $150-160 billion every year.
3.5 million immigrants are projected to lose legal status by the end of 2028.
That’s $79 billion in lost economic contributions and more than a million U.S. citizen kids who will be living with someone who has lost status.
Republicans don’t give a damn about legal immigration.

Violence like the shooting last night in Eden Prairie is completely unacceptable.
