I hope people listen to this clip peacefully and try to understand why I decided to share these two specific examples. Indians tend to live under the illusion that it is just the Liberals/NDP that are anti-India. I say this with full responsibility. The Khalistani infiltration of the Canadian system is universal. This is a uniparty that is anti-India and that leads to decisions that directly affect the honest and hard-working Indo-Canadian community. Diwali is one of the biggest festivals of the Indo-Canadian community. But on October 19, an almost 40-year-old tradition of playing the Indian national anthem after the Canadian national anthem was discontinued for some odd reason at an even in Winnepeg, Manitoba. Then we have the Conservative Party of Canada that decides to cancel a Diwali event that has been hosted for 23 years by them without providing any explanation. My question is, what has the Canadian community of Indian origin got to do with the current India-Canada spat? Also, there are Hindus from the Caribbean islands and many other countries that have moved to Canada. What have they done to be treated like this? Or is the Canadian political class sending a subtle message to Indo-Canadians that they are second-class citizens in Canada? If the Canadian political class wants Indo-Canadians to leave, they should be more direct and straight forward. And I would request the government of India to look into these subtle attempts of intimidation of an honest and hard-working community, i.e. the Indo-Canadians, and find a solution for the Indian passport holders living here. I hope people understand why I have been advocating for stopping all sorts of trade with Canada as their political class is going on intimidating the diaspora to score brownie points over India.
