Having a cat 1 academy will be the fill for that void, but also I guess it’s an “ambition” for the reason that it’s ambitious.

I’m running the inaugural Run South London Half Marathon for the AFC Wimbledon Foundation. Knackering my knees over 13.1 miles for a brilliant cause. Please chuck a few quid in the pot if you can! 💙💛 justgiving.com/page/graham-s…

Wales is abroad...well thats what the travel director at West Ham was told😂😂
West Ham players board the plane to come home from their big European away game last night against.... Cardiff? 🤔 It's a 1 hr 50-minute train journey from Cardiff to London; can someone please explain to me why on earth a championship team is flying this distance to and from a midweek game? We have to drink through paper straws and be careful with our recycling, yet a team that currently sits 8th in the Championship is allowed to fly to and from a game that's a quick train journey away... The FA needs to ste in and put some restrictions on teams travel, as this is just incredibly excessive.. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Replying to @AFCWimbledon
@AFCWimbledon fans, those of you who haven't voted yet, please do. Even if you're going to vote NO, it's important in a fan owned club that people express their wishes via the democratic process. It literally takes five seconds, no filling out forms, just click on yes or no.

City's tickets are cheaper than Wimbledon????
Premier League season-ticket prices for 2026/27, ranked from MOST expensive to cheapest. 👀 Arsenal sit top at £978, while Manchester City and Hull City come in at the other end of the list.

Hmmmm they get to watch matches for their season ticket price and free vote in the club where as I pay game by game if I can go and have to pay £60 for my vote, doesn’t really seem fair does it

I think it depends on whether you want DT members to be people who want to be DT members or you just want a big number of members.

As I understand it you can opt out but no discount. It’s a bit Peter to Paul - iirc the Club pays the DT a portion of each ST. In tha way it’s almost a compulsory purchase I guess. Would people prefer a cheaper ST and then opt in? I’d suggest many would (but others suggest not)

Well that’s another question, if season ticket holders are getting it free with nothing added on how is that fair? If there is an added charge in the season ticket can that be opted out of and the money saved? I get my boys ST but under 16 they don’t get full DT membership.

Tbh if it wasn’t included with a ST I’d have personally saved the money this year. Tough times and all that.

I must admit for the first time I’ve thought of not bothering, I got my wife to start joining too even tho she cares nothing about football, £25 was a throw away gesture, now I’m not even sure I’ll renew never mind her.

My point exactly. We're paying more money for less impact, less control and on the verge of losing any sense of fan ownership. If that's what the majority want that's fine but I'm struggling with the thought of joining the race to the bottom.

I like the idea of a sort of DD to buy shares. Tbh we always billed it as ‘owners’ then suddenly ‘members’. Owners who get cut of future sales might get people interested?

I think that a decent sized group paying around a tenner a month could fund the operating deficit. I'm not sure if offering equity and a share value as such could make it more attractive but I think a different model is required. It may something separate to the DT entirely.

I can’t decide whether I’d lower the cost (£60 feels like one of those things people forgo when times are tight) or raise the cost and make it mean a bit more, like you say. Be an interesting one to research I reckon
