The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has taken cognizance of serious allegations regarding the deployment of unsafe and potentially non-compliant AC sleeper buses under the Punjab Government’s Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana, meant to facilitate pilgrimage for senior citizens and economically disadvantaged persons.
The complaint raises concerns regarding alleged unauthorised structural modifications, installation of partitions and doors separating the driver’s cabin from the passenger compartment, obstruction of emergency exits and windows, and deficiencies in essential fire detection, suppression and emergency evacuation arrangements.

One name. 13 entries. One constituency. This is the "purified" voter list after SIR in UP. 💀
→ Azamgarh, UP. The name "Vikas Yadav" appeared 13 times in the voter list of one Assembly seat.
→ This is the final list published on April 10, 2026, AFTER the Special Intensive Revision.
→ The opposition flagged it on October 15. Only then did the system wake up.
→ The inquiry confirmed it: 13 entries with the same name.
→ Turns out 10 of them were different people, all wrongly listed under "Vikas Yadav".
→ So 10 real voters were sitting in the list with someone else's name.
→ Now the ERO and 2 AEROs face chargesheets, and 5 BLOs plus a computer assistant are being removed.
→ And this comes right after Pilibhit, where "irregularities" were found in 10,470 entries.
Now connect the dots.
SIR was sold as the big cleaning of the voter list.
Lakhs of names were cut in the name of "duplicates" and "errors".
But the final list itself has one name 13 times.
And in Pilibhit, over 10 thousand entries were wrong.
Every time, the mistake is found by the opposition, not by the Election Commission.
If nobody had held a press conference, would anyone have checked?

Here’s something that a LOT of people don’t know about what’s actually going on with Delhi Police.
CJP’s Saurav Das & Ashutosh Ranka have been sent to 2 more days of judicial custody in Tihar Jail.
By a judicial court? NO.
They have been kept in Tihar Jail for the last 6 days on the order of a Special Executive Magistrate (SEM).
Who is an SEM? He is an ACP-rank (junior) police officer of Delhi Police appointed by the state govt.
Therefore, Delhi Police arrested Saurav & Ashutosh & now a Delhi Police ACP (acting as SEM) is keeping them in jail.
There’s no FIR against them. There’s also no judicial order.
Delhi Police are the accusers & well as the judge when it comes to keeping them in jail.
That’s how messed up it is.

Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka argued that the Special Executive Magistrate (SEM) wrongly extended their judicial custody on the ground that they had defaulted in executing the required bond, despite their sureties having been produced in accordance with law.
They say that SEM order mechanically relies on the police's application without recording an independent assessment of the circumstances warranting continued custody.
