A 25-year-old woman was followed home while walking her dog in Berkeley, California.
She made it inside her locked apartment complex—but the man climbed the gate and followed her inside.
The craziest part to me is where she said she initially hesitated because she “didn’t want to offend him.”
Ladies, trust your instincts. Your safety matters more than a stranger’s feelings.
Police found the man the next day, detained him—and didn’t arrest him.
This is what years of soft-on-crime leadership have created: criminals are emboldened, innocent people are terrified, and the system is more concerned with making excuses than protecting law-abiding citizens.
Absolutely unacceptable.
